Well, here goes nothing. Tomorrow afternoon I meet the lovely Marina for a lunch date. However casual its intention, this is still a first for this lone knight. Everyone, especially @LadyOfMystery and @YankeeGirl, since I believe you both know a bit more about my feelings on this kind of thing than others, I ask that you please pray for me that Marina and i will get along well together no matter how our friendship goes from here, and that I also never fail to be a humble and loyal gentleman around her.

It's something I do. Okay, so I may be a SLOW writter, but my journey over the last four years with my current book has been more than fulfilling, and an extension of myself that only I get to see. (Until I finish the book of course.)

If at any point you don't like reality, create your own through writing.

When I was dating my ex I had an idea to write a book loosely based on our circumstances, and coming from a person in a wheelchair I knew that would be a new thing that people might find interesting. I was planning on making it a trilogy of sorts. I got about 6 chapters done before he broke up with me and now I just have no motivation what so ever to write it and I don't have any really good ideas to restart a book.

Someone suggested to just make the ending how it really ended but honestly that would put me back in a bad place, and I really didn't want it to be that kind of book. But it felt SO good writing! I really need to get my mind back in order and think up another good scenario. I felt like I was creating something awesome.

All this talk about writing causes me to think of my blog and the 4 or 5 stories that I need to polish up before hitting submit. At least I'm not alone with lacking the motivation to keep it up.
