Eh, sports are fixed anyway.

Not even halfway into the night shift and getting sleepy. Oh boy...

2 cans of Monster
Triple espresso
Coconut butter or MCT oil
Super strength B vitamins

Trust me, in 45 minutes time you'll KNOW you're awake.

Sounds like a beefed up version of Bulletproof coffee ^_^

YES! That's exactly what it is. Well spotted.

It's my spin on it. I call it the, hmm... Haven't got a name for it. Just an advisory note to not drink it if you're planning to go to sleep this week.

I'll have to try it. Perhaps this weekend sometime. For a while there, I was making Bulletproof coffee every day. Just fell out of the habit somehow.

I just watched an extremely sad video of a dog who just got dropped off at the pound - realizing her owners are leaving her and not coming back. She looks so stunned and heartbroken :(
It makes me think about how we can take people's love and dedication for granted, and how emotionally shattering it can be when someone important to us walks away.
Wow, this post is depressing...

My friend has been on my mind lately. She was quite literally everyone's best mate, and just had one of those personalities that just drew people close to her. She touched the lives of many and inspired me in so many ways. There was just something inexplicably special about her - she knew exactly what she was, and had absolutely no inhibitions. So worldly and wise too, always the person to go to for advice on just about anything.

Sadly, she left us at the age of 28. I've long accepted her death, but sometimes I miss her wisdom when I need advice on things. You know, those silly trivial things - you don't see them as trivial, until a friend like her laughs at you and calls you a muppet for even worrying about it. And then she lays the advice on you.

I'm not alone though. Everyone who knew her will know exactly what I'm talking about. It was like we were her children.

Applied for a student loan. 2 year programming course at an IT college starting here in September. My seat's guranteed and loans should go through no problem.

Big move for me... I prayed and prayed about it and this *seems* to be the answer. I've had an interest in programming since I was a young teen and used to mess around with scripting and the like. I went to an orientation at the college a week ago and it seems like a great program.

I'm excited but nervous heh. I really hope this pans out.
