Narrowed the list down to two countries, researched the various methods of entry and visas that each of the countries have that I might eligible for, spoken to people who have emigrated to find out more information, and am currently considering my best options.

I am glad you're going through the steps to leave since you do not like it here. However you're still ABLE to leave.... as I said in the post you quoted..... "not being able to" is a way of saying "I choose comfort over leaving" the truth is..... unless someone is disabled or bound in chains.... "able to" comes down to what is it worth to you?

If one wants out bad enough...... a destination is not needed nor is a plan. THAT was the point in the post you originally quoted. If the cost is too much (such as discomfort, uncertainty etc.) then you don't dislike it as much as you think if you value comfort over escape.

Im in the mood for a hamburger and fries...... instead..... my dinner is 2 servings of oatmeal.

Why? Cause....... I loathe grocery shopping more than I dislike the disappointment of wanting good food but instead settling for apple cinnamon oats....... like Im Mr Ed.

There's always another option.

Even when things are completely dark. Seek the God of Israel with your whole heart, if I remember correctly you already are searching for him - don't give up. I've been in situations where I thought it was a permanent state for me, situations where I had very good reasons to think the situation was hopeless.

But God pulled amazing things. He was merciful and saw my heart, saw that I was striving for answers in life and just wanted a normal loving life and saw that I sought him out. God pulled miracles for me, true, tangible miracles and has brought me out of all kinds of horribly difficult situations.

God delivers, he saves, and he prospers (and when I say prospers I don't mean in material things, but in other ways - he gives life meaning, he gives it purpose and direction, he heals the broken-hearted and he loves you). He already does love you, but you need to accept his love in Christ and trust him. That forms a relationship with a being who can and does deliver us from our struggles, a being who will never forsake you and will always be there for you.
