Well see... COFFEE is simply ground up coffee beans with hot water run over it.

That is coffee, black and plain.... that is why people say "Want coffee? Sugar? Cream?" Adding sugars, creamers....... etc etc. is NOT coffee it is simply a bunch of cream and sugar....... like hot melted ice cream.... so it doth not countith as thine liquid called coffee..... so I sput you good sir.

Since you mentioned ice cream, does the sugar, chocolate or vanilla, nuts, etc, things we put in ice cream mean ice cream is no longer ice cream?



My coffee, is organic beans naturally decaffeinated by the Swiss water method, roasted locally to perfection, ground smooth, put in a French press with cinnamon and vanilla, then pour in the hot water, let it sit and get all smooth and strong, then press it down, and pour in a cup, add just a tad of half and half, and ohhhhhhh, glorious....

Nope, ice cream is exactly frozen cream and sugar... so without those ingredients it is not ice cream.

As far as added items..... such as chocolate vanilla........ etc there is a reason we say "vanilla ice cream" or "Chocolate ice cream" or "Ice cream with nuts on top" etc.

Coffee however does not require such items to exist.... simply water and beans...... just cause people say they like coffee but then drown it in cream and sugar..... doesn't mean that is coffee.

Most people dont like coffee..... its why they add sugar a nd cream to it to take off the bitter yuckness.

Id rather drink unsweet tea than unsweet or uncreamered coffee....

When I make the coffee, I enjoy it black. Only reason I don't typically drink it that way is that it can burn my stomach something fierce. Cream helps with that.

And now, I'm gonna make a decaf latte... Because I can!

Yes, but most people call the coffee with cream and sugar just coffee.... and its not..... coffee in itself at its base level is coffee......coffee with ANYTHING added to it is not in itself the substance that is coffee, simply coffee with an addition that changes coffee into something they like. Coffee with cream and sugar.... nothing wrong with calling it that........ calling a super double shot half cap blah blah blah "coffee" it isn't.

There are those that like coffee in itself, but the popularity of coffee is based mostly on its additive options and not the coffee itself.

Just noticed the coffee talk up in here.

I personally like sugar and milk in my coffee...ends up becoming more like a latte, which is fine by me. I still have some sensitivity to all the caffeine, so I can only handle so much coffee...but I can't help it...it's so good.

Yeah we've had a polar vortex or two, but for the most part it's been warm. Going to be in the 50s this next week lol. Average high is 29, so well above average.
