What happened?Right now, I feel like the worst driver who has ever gotten behind the wheel of a vehicle.![]()
Failed to see crosswalk lights and almost hit a pedestrian due to sleep deprivation and fatigue. I feel so stupid about it all.![]()
Failed to see crosswalk lights and almost hit a pedestrian due to sleep deprivation and fatigue. I feel so stupid about it all.I've made mistakes backing up before, but not driving forward thinking the girl would let me past before she crossed.

I get the idea America is pretty unique in this opinion. I've seen psas from other countries that say you shouldn't ever get behind the wheel if you'r tired or groggy. Truthfully I think that's the wiser stance. Stopping your world for a few hours is worth it if it saves a life. Cars are extremely dangerous as is, to operate them without full cognizance should be unacceptable. If it's that important to be driving, put your other plans on the back burner and make sleep a priority. As for never driving while tired........ it looks nice on paper, but reality is, life and the world don't stop spinning just cause you need a nap. Some times you gotta do things that are less than ideal.
