Well good luck to you and Travelers. I have pretty much officially kicked my soda addiction.
Now my addiction seems to be tea........ I still hate making it, but meh.
Yes, tea still has caffeine in it and I do put sugar in it.. but even on a "bad" cup of tea Im only taking in half the amount of sugars than I would from a single can of Dr Pepper.
Even then, its the "real" thing and not the high fructose stuff.
I have lost anywhere from 12-14 pounds. (Depending on which part of fluctuation differences)
I had a dr pepper today and a coke yesterday.... but thats only cause I had to get groceries.... today I had to pick up milk and greek yogurt since I forgot it yesterday.
I HATE yogurt but greek yogurt is AWESOME in a shake.
All of the protein and good bacteria without the bad taste and feeling like I am sitting there eating out of a petri dish culture. (Yes, I know its GOOD bacteria..... but the concept is still gross)
Yeah, I don't think I'm going to wait until New Years to try to kick my pop addiction anymore. I'm going to start today after I'm done my current bottle. Withdrawal is usually the worst on day two or three. After at least three days, I should be fine. I've done it before several times but then I decide to have that one glass.
I swear, it feels like I'm suffering from a G-rated drug addiction.
