  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What's on your mind?

Mainly the part where the Mummy takes the body parts from that one guy to put on himself. Pretty much blinding and maiming him.

I know it's from the Mummy. Not sure which one.

Ah, Mr. Burns? That guy with the glasses who the Mummy takes his eyes and then later sucks him dry of flesh?

Lol, although I remember liking that part where that one lady is chained up.

Always felt guilting for watching. In my Christian upbringing that film would never be allowed to be viewed at my home.

I must say they picked some beautiful actors for this movie. I used to have a poster of Anck-su-namum when I was a child :D

I once tried to open my jaw like that and it clicked off one of the side hinges. One of the most uncomfortable and painful things I have experienced, because it essentially gets stuck open in one position, and you panic and can't do anything, luckily it slid back after a min or so... lol.

Sometimes if I yawn too widely my jaw does click out of place. Most of the time it goes back almost immediately, but there was one occasion where it took a while, so I know how you must have felt.

I'm going to be looking to move to Canada, Australia or NZ before I'm 30 I think... British dairy prices are just not stable (or particularly high.) I'll always have a job here, but there's no real satisfaction in it when the profit margins are so slim. And I've already achieved 90% of what I could do here. So yeah, I need to be looking towards moving abroad in the next couple of years.

I think once you're at the level of a herd manager, you either take on that sort of role, or you go off into the world and advance your skill set even more. And being the traveller at heart that I am, the latter of the two appeals more. Especially at 26 whilst I'm still relatively young.

Who me?

Nah, I just like to point out that Amazon is technically the new Walmart and no one is beating down the doors of Amazon HQ with torches and pitch forks.

I just ask the villagers remain consistent is all. :sput:

I literally live about 2 to 3 blocks from the Wal-Mart home office. My son works there and he walks to and from work everyday in about 10 minutes. My mom worked at the first Wal-Mart store ever on the grand opening day. She also worked in their print shop for 17 years and it was her Wal-Mart pay and benefits that raised me a my brother and sister.

Now since everybody know that I can be justified when I say this.......WAL-MART RULES!!!!!!!

Now with that being said I will say this. Wal-Mart is not the same company now as it was when Sam was alive. I remember when you could walk into the store and get a 5 pound bag of nachos for 99 cents and we still could today except for there is some Harvard graduate in the buyers offices who is telling the makers of nachos in a five pound bag to please put it in a 1 and a half pound bag so it will fit on the shelves easier and to also please charge $3 so people will think its a quality product.

It still has a lot going for it and I am proud that they have kept the unions out but everything has its cycles and in 20 years the new cycle may just well be Amazon but I don't think they well ever rule the retail market until they find somebody who will once again supply America with 5 pound bags of nachos for 99 cents.

I dont have a problem with Walmart. People call them "Satan" I think if you are going to call Walmart "Satan" then you pretty much HAVE to claim that about ALL parts of corporate America.

"They don't treat their employees right" - How is that worse than ANY corporation? McDonald's has an even worse track record for employee treatment.... yet the same people that claim "RIGHTS!" are the same people shoveling down all the dollar menu burgers.

"They sell only made in China cheap garbage" - Again, how is that different than even the mom and pop stores? EVERYTHING IS MADE IN CHINA! :|

Etc. etc.... Walmart bad, Starbucks good.......
Im all for better treatment of workers, but then I have always been of the thinking...... happy employees make for a happy business. Corporations are all about every dime. (You can actually thank McDonald's, not Walmart for this work model.)

Anyway, on my mind. Im thinking I should seriously start my own business..... me and about 6 other people. Too many generals not enough soldiers comes to mind but TBH I wouldn't care. I need the money more than I need to feel "in control" and make the business about my ego.

I am setting in my garage and I am setting back and being cool as always while jamming to the stones.

Next event is to go stand at the corner and trash talk passer Byers while busting out some rymez.

It is too hard to talk ghetto with spell check, this is whack........um nevermnid.

I went to wal-mart a couple of hours ago and every 2 minutes I was asked by an employee if I was finding everything ok. I almost snapped and almost shoutted at one "just when did Wal-Mart employees start caring if I was finding everything ok". Its like they were possessed or something. Maybe they thought I was stealing or something, I never get asked if I need assistance at Wal-Mart.

On Monday I'm going to start working out at a gym inside a high school my mother works at. I'm going to bump my weight down to 170 lbs. by the summer. I will quit the pop, quit the junk food and exercise until I can actually like myself.

And the fact that I'm going to lower my meds is also going to be a plus. One of the side effects was weight gain.

Good luck and may you get to where you want to be at.

As for me I am old and don't care anymore. What's it matter if I look good, in the end I am just going to die and turn back into dust.

I have paid $20 a month for membership at Planet Fitness for two years and I only used them for one month the first year. After that I was like "well the tanning beds are worth $20 a month" but I don't even do that, I can walk around without a shirt on and get a tan for free.

I am going to stop paying them, matter of fact I think they owe me some money or some free pizza or something.

In 40 years I will probable be dead anyway so whats it matter, o no, Bullwinkle's college, "Whats a matter U".

Anywho, today a guy was standing on the edge of the road yelling that the end is near. As I was watching him a car ran him over. I guess he was right, for him the end was near. He should have been preaching salvation and maybe he would have lived longer.
