Swan i havent heard of cats being on leashes is this a wild cat or things are different in canada?

I suppose it depends on where you live with cats too.

Dogs are totally different sort of animal with much more requirements I find.

Oh i see...yes it might be good to have our chickens on leashes since they keep going next door but they always come back at the end of the day. (They hop the fence) we always close the gate and constantly tell them to come back but I dont speak chicken language and they disobey me. It used to be they crossed the road but they dont do that anymore!

With dogs i think they need to be properly securely fenced in which is the law in my area. Also they are microchipped.

Cats not so much but they do need to be trained I agree. If they are fed properly they wont go begging at other ppls houses.

Really? I never knew it was illegal. I see cats roaming in my parts all the time haha. I have 2 neighborhood cat friends. Every time I'm out for a walk and they're out and they see me, they meow and come up to me to be petted. One has no tail and just a bob, cutest thing eveerrrr.
It's more common to let your cat go free then not to here, unless you live in an apartment.

It may be common, but that doesn't make it right Yes, where I live it is certainly illegal, but people do it anyway. Much like a lot of crimes still committed. I have seen well mannered cats however, I liked those cats. I would pet them before continuing on to school as a kid. They never left the property.

Emotional abuse is always tough. I just have to remember that it is that person's insecurity that is manifesting itself in a destructive way. I just pray that the Lord helps me through and uses it to strengthen me and also that He heals them.

I know exactly what you mean. I'll be praying for both.

God has certainly used it to strengthen me too. There are times that it seems a but haunting, but then looking into His Word helps me a great deal, along with prayer.

Also, you don't have to authorise it. A person/thing/circumstance/whatever, can only get to you if you give them/it permission. I know that sounds like a massive oversimplification, but the bottom line here is this - you're a sovereign individual and a believer in God. Therefore, the world has no power over you. At all.

I'm probably off the mark again, but don't worry, I'm harmless. Dim, possibly. But harmless none the less.

I don't allow it to define me at all. I pray that I can eventually remove myself from the situation and lead a better life, but right now I am not able and I rely on God to take care of me.
