I'm getting so sick of people sharing Buzzfeed, and Huffpost articles on fb.

I know Huffington Post is an incredibly Liberal news post but I don't watch much Buzzfeed. What's so bad about it?

Buzzfeed is pretty the poster child for social justice smugness. They come out with lists like: "20 things white people ruined in 2015", etc.

Ugh, anxious dread and dinner aren't going well on my stomach at the moment.

Because they're racist. They see dark skin as a perpetual disability, and white skin as a perpetual sin that must be always apologized for. Because they're racist.

Try Australia. I watched a whole bunch of PSA's from there and 98% were related to car accidents. That must really say something.

As for the humidity, I live in a very dry place and going to Florida for the first time was unpleasant. The air was so thick that we could hardly breathe.

I've got something I want to buy and this guy from the shop is just stuffing me about and not coming back with confirmation.

Really annoys me. I try to support local business first. He either wants the sale or he doesn't. I'm going to try and cut straight to the supplier very soon if he doesn't have an answer.

Australia is a must for me. The people over there have life all figured out - I'm finding the American folk here a bit uptight. I've bantered with a few of the locals, and they don't understand that I'm just being friendly.

I'm enjoying it so far though. I'm not enjoying the Seven 11 prices though. I bought a can of drink first thing this morning, and the guy behind the counter said "3:50 please" - I was like, er, is that the time?!

I love Aussies too, so easygoing people!

I've thought about moving to some other country some time in the future, and Australia is pretty much on the top of my list. The only thing they'd have to do to get me in the plane right now would be to remove their huge spiders from the landscape....

Nah, I love arachnids. It's partly why I have a scorpion tattoo on my right arm. They're solitary and misunderstood, like me.

Joking aside, education is the best way to conquer an irrational fear. I used to be so overcome with anxiety that I wouldn't leave my house, and now I'm travelling the world and meeting new people all the time. Spiders are cool, start with that.

No, never been. But it's up there in my top 5 places to visit. I had family who lived out there for a few years in the early 90's, but they missed us too much to stay there for long.

Japan, China, the Caribbean, Australia, Germany (for Octoberfest) - in that order.

My fave places to visit would be some place in Asia, North America (USA/Canada - zone) and Australia. But to stay longer, in Asia I would need to learn some local language so I'm basically limited to places where I could use English. (Newsflash: Finnish is pretty useless language in travelling...)

I'm pretty much done doing tourist visits to other countries, if I go abroad, I would like to stay for at least couple of months, possibly permanently, work there etc.

I've basically given up with the idea of learning more languages anymore myself. It's taken me 10+ years to get my English to the level where I can have an actual conversation with it, and I still feel like I'm handicapped while using it. Like f.e. I can write poetic stuff in my own language, but I can't even dream of writing a poem in English, at least not one that would be anything but a tragicomical because of the hopeless grammar, lol.

I don't think I'm up for going through the same pains of learning another language third time. Some people have talent for learning languages fast, and good for them, but I've come to accept I'm not one of them...

And you are right, if you want to connect with people, speaking their language is the best way.

I'm afraid one of my friends is on the verge of going down that path. Chasing what the world calls "love', but not realizing that the world isn't capable of love.

The problem is, portraying to someone their way of life is hazordous is very difficult, until they are threatened with an idea of desparity.
Humans are so great at creating delusions to justify emptiness. Ignorance is bliss, and all that.
However, in my experience, there is nothing like a dramatic and/or traumatic situation to open someone's eyes. Learning the 'hard way'.

The only thing we can do is find a way to show what true Love is like, and hope it gets past their stubborn pride.
