Dryer went out last night (refusing to heat up). Took it apart today and found the problem: a break in the heating element. Landlord is coming early tomorrow to bring a replacement part or a replacement dryer. And my sis dropped the nephews over for a sleepover a few hours ago. Gonna be an interesting night, ladies and gentlemen.

I have asthma attacks and I hate how people around me respond. I get a burst of adrenaline trying to inhale or exhale or whatever. But people around think I am upset with them and they try to calm me down. It is like drowning, but they never get it. The last thing I need is to calm down. Today was especially frightening, but then I had to spend a half hour explaining that I wasn't mad at anyone.

Why thanks. Yeah, I'm good with the nephews, it's just tiring; cause I have to bring my mattress from my bed out to living room floor, so they aren't alone, and one grinds his teeth, one snores, and one moves around all night, so I have to keep checking to be sure they stay covered and don't fall off the air mattresses that we put out. And I have to make sure none of them try to wander off looking for my sister in confusion.... Basically I'm just lay awake all night tonight. But who needs sleep really?

I've got the dryer put back together, and now I gotta figure out dinner...

Yeah, I'm good with the nephews, it's just tiring; cause I have to bring my mattress from my bed out to living room floor, so they aren't alone, and one grinds his teeth, one snores, and one moves around all night, so I have to keep checking to be sure they stay covered and don't fall off the air mattresses that we put out. And I have to make sure none of them try to wander off looking for my sister in confusion.... Basically I'm just lay awake all night tonight. But who needs sleep really?

A friend of Dad's took pity on us (lol) and for Thanksgiving him and his wife brought over two plate fulls of Thanksgiving food on Thanksgiving and 2 plate fulls of desserts!

There was turkey, ham, deviled eggs, stuffing with sausage (mind blown!!), yams, green beans. Om nom nom.

I even ate the yams. I've never had yams. They were um... Interesting... I was really hungry though. Lol

The desserts were Pumpkin Pie, Black Walnut Cake and Coconut Cake.

I actually really enjoyed the Pumpkin Pie...and as most of you know, I usually hate pumpkin pie, but it was really well made.
