Overall the tale of the princess kaguya film isn't my favorite. It was interesting and weird. But I probably won't watch it again. (I didn't get bored though; and the art was pretty cool. So I can understand the high ratings I saw online before watching it.)

Yeah those are some nice studio ghibli films you've mentioned. :) my top three favorites are: castle in the sky, whisper of the heart, and spirited away. But there are quite a few others I enjoy as well.

Hayao Miyazaki isn't dead as far as I know. I believe the last film he made was the wind rises a couple years ago. Then he announced his retirement. (I can't remember but I think he had tried retirement previously before making some more movies).

Yep. :)

I enjoyed that one as well. :)

Lol. Did I just kill Miyazaki? I could've sworn I read an article somewhere about his death last year. Or maybe it was about his retirement. My bad. Thanks for clearing that out. ^_^

Here's my top 3. :)
1. Whisper of the Heart
2. Spirited Away
3. Howl's Moving Castle

I keep feeling like there's always so,ething to do, even on a relaxing summer day. Have to get up, have to do this and that, have to work on my writing even though it might amount to nothing, have to consider bulking myself up and working out more...

I hear you on the workouts. You should join Maka's thread on working out. It's a fun thread to keep everyone motivated.

Fine. As long as you aren't one of those annoying people who start their Christmas shopping before Labor Day.

Or start celebrating Christmas in general before Thanksgiving (American).

I really don't get that. Thanksgiving is such a great holiday and deserves some spotlight. I absolutely love to shop, but I detest Black Friday. I think it's awful that people have to go into work on that holiday just to prepare for the madness of the shopping mob. Nothing says Christmas spirit more than trampling someone to be the first in line. Seriously, your tv and clothes can wait at least a few weeks.

Yes I am very adamant about that too. I REFUSE to shop on Black Friday because of store's greed, making people work on Thanksgiving. It's disgusting. And people trampling over each other for crap. Yeah, that's what the Christmas spirit has become.

I have friends that cross the border and shop on Black Friday. For us it's no big deal, because our Thanksgiving is in October. I still dislike the concept though (I might consider doing it if there was something exceptionally special on sale, but I'd rather not have to battle crowds). I'd much rather go at another time and not have to worry about being trampled. Plus, American Thanksgiving is a big deal (a lot bigger of holiday than here). I think it should stay that way.

I never have shopped on Black Friday and don't ever plan on it. The deals are just starting earlier and earlier as well. Places are opening on Thanksgiving now. It's become the day to celebrate greed.

I'd rather stay home, eat turkey and pumpkin pie, and watch football. You have the rest of the year to shop.

I love Buzzfeed. They devote countless articles to how women are beautiful in all sizes, yet always make articles about how only tall and well built men are attractive.

I love how Buzzfeed devotes countless articles about how women are beautiful in all sizes. Yet when they make articles about attractive men, they are always tall, well built and traditionally attractive.

They even had a story labeled " 20 hot Finnish guys who were made to make other men feel bad.."

The hypocrisy is astounding.. And one of the reasons why men will never take body image issue campaigns for women very seriously. If women get to be shallow about looks, equality dictates that men also get to be shallow about looks..

I am really tired of all the body shaming complaints. It's getting old, lol. At first I was in favor of women trying to promote healthier trends and views in the media, but now everyone whines about everything.
