It's interesting when you're the middle person caught in between a misunderstanding between two people. You get to hear both sides of the story and puzzle it all together, but you also get to see where each of them went wrong. It's kind of sad though, I feel like I wasted an opportunity to help fix it. I just listened instead.

The older I get, the more likely I am in that situation to close my ears and not want to get in the middle of anything.

I find myself in this same type of situation on a frequent basis, though I often find it hard to speak up since at times it can be awkward, lol.

The bomb squad was called in by the police and took over from there. the area where the bombs were found was closed off for well over 3 hours, starting from well before 3 to about 7. I was very nervous, but I'm glad that no one was hurt, or that they didn't go off.

I've been in a similar situation myself in the past - and I was almost roped into it. All I did was remind myself of all of the drama that would have kicked off had I gone through with it.

No matter what's running through your mind now, remember, you WILL regret it. Avoid, avoid, avoid - and if that doesn't work, just tell her you're gay.
