CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This kind is locally made with a special technique, and I'm telling you: tastes like the real thing. I grind it fine then put it in the press with a little cinnamon and a splash of vanilla, let it sit a little bit longer than necessary to make sure it's good and strong, then plunge it. It's glorious in the evenings, and doesn't keep me awake all night.Ewww Decaf! Fake coffee!

That's a good point, mojo. I don't know if you recall, I was very stressed prior to the Holy Spirit encounter, with my boss. Then, the Holy Spirit encounter happened, and other 'happenings' have happened, and my whole life has changed in the matter of six weeks. Going on 7. My relationship with my boss is like totally new, and maybe in part, I needed to change some of my thinking. But, it's all God...it's quite amazing. His grace is amazing, and not sure I really understood that until these past six weeks. But, in some ways, I'm glad that I identified as an atheist for a time, because I never understood atheism before, it wasn't something to understand really, but always found it to be mysterious. Or something. Idk. Every experience leads you to where you are right now.
