Hey, everyone. I just got a text from my friends I used to work with a Norit in Marshall TX a years ago that our former boss, David Steingas, was just in a bad automobile accident and suffered a broken rib and has gone into ICU. He's a seventh-day Adventist in his 60's, and overall I think we all liked having him as our lab manager. ... But then this happens, and on top of Cabot (the company that bought Norit just as I was leaving for another job) laying him off for no good reason along with forty other employees at the Marshall plant just a few weeks ago. So please pray that he gets through all of this. And his family.

Star Trek is coming out qith a tv show on CBS! YES!...

Now wait a couple years and we'll see Star Wars developing a live action series on ABC. "What happens when a spunky imperial scientist is enlisted by a beautiful former bounty hunter to help solve crimes? Tune in to ABC to witness the groundbreaking rehash of every other procedural on network tv with a fresh Star Wars skin..."

I would be all over a bounty hunter Star Wars (minus the crime solving) show. Don't be such a hater. Why can't we be friends? I like Star Trek and I like Star Wars.

I'm not knocking Star Wars, I'm knocking Disney and ABC. They have control of the franchise, just like they have control of Marvel. And what have they done with Marvel? "Agents of SHIELD"; a procedural cop show. If Star Wars were to make an actual tv series, it would be on ABC because they own it, and if it's on ABC, it's going to be a typical ABC procedural.

God is amazing. Truly amazing. I feel bad that I turned away from faith, but in a way...it showed me another side of life. And it showed me ...Jesus' love.
