Loud bikes don't bother me. After all you have to think most people don't look out for motorcycles, so making their presence known serves a purpose even if it can be annoying at times.

The thing that annoys me are the "Honda Civics" that have the neon light kits underneath, a HUGE muffler on the back and absolutely nothing done under the hood. A LOT of noise, but no "GO!".

A loud car is not impressive. A loud car because it has POWER is.

Well, even THAT has a purpose. However it also has a time.

Such as if the bike has been worked on. There are times when I rev my car after I've done some work to it. I don't do it at night though. My car isn't LOUD, but it can get a lot louder than its full stock version.

The first time I ever heard one, I just about fell over backwards.It was pain and excitement. Though Im not sure which caused me to almost fall backwards. Unless you are used to it and/or you know its coming and are fighting it, you will instinctively cover your ears. Even if you arent standing right by it.

The first time I heard it I was probably about 50 yards away.

After that, I just about fell over and said "I have no idea what that was (couldnt see it), but man its loud and Im in love!" Undoubtedly screaming it at the top of my lungs since my ears were probably one step away from bleeding.
