Whether countries will or will not accept refugees isn't the real issue, but rather just sweeping the real issues under the carpet.

The real issues is terrorism, rather specifically IS.

Arab countries need to step up and take more responsibility protecting their people and fighting IS. The problem will never be resolved if people just flee. Someone must take responsibility, stay, fight & defeat them.

Maybe we should step up and actually stop bombing other countries. We caused IS through the illegal war of Iraq. We cause war and terror by going into other countries and taking resources for the last hundred years.

We should be taking our actions into account first rather as usual trying to blame others.

That's the real issue and because of our involvement we have cause these poor people to flee we should step up and take them in..

Pppffffttttttt you need your head check! Stay and fight... for the love of god what's wrong with you, to question people fleeing. Don't you think they haven't fought, seen our bombs drop from the sky, IS taking over there towns.... it's hard press to ask people to fight when they have nothing left to fight with.


P.s it's our government who do the arms deals that proved IS with the weapons

They are totally our problem. As a society, we’ve sat idly by while our governments have destroyed countries, and fuelled terrorism and civil wars, just so our cost of living can stay low and our standards of living can stay high. We have enough to share. We have enough space, and we have enough money. We live in one of the wealthiest countries in the world, and we’re happy to reap the benefits of our global cavorting. Now, when it’s coming back to bite us. we have to accept full responsibility for it. Donate, petition, protest. Just don’t ignore.

Rich white westerners sometimes annoy me when they say weird things and go for the shabby chic look with their torn jeans which they buy deliberately rip up to make themselves look poor but in reality are way more expensive than getting it from the op shop.

The look has changed quite a bit. You can revert back to the old CF look, but the features remain the same. Some of the old features are gone... reps have been replaced with "likes." I tend to like the old reps better. And there isn't a "who's online" window anymore. Those are the 2 features which I miss the most. And no thread tags.

Craziness! That's pretty cool though. No tags? Aw, sad day. CF is definitely taking a more modern approach with this look. It's a little hard to navigate through the changes, but it looks somewhat cleaner and more usable.
