You could try inquiring at local churches in the area and search online.
Many years ago in my area a giant college/career/singles bible study was organized with people from many different churches and denominations. It was pretty fun, and interesting getting some different perspectives sometimes. Many churches are too small to have their own groups, but some do exist.
I heard of that one from someone I knew from highschool via facebook message I think.
You can probabaly look up on facebook as well if anyone has any christian groups for your area.

It wasn't the laser that killed her, though. All you have to do is be on the lookout for any stuffed animals on the floor nearby that you can trip up on and thus inexplicably stumble halfway across the room to fall out of one of the windows.

Welp. My path towards gaining newfound confidence in myself has turned into the path towards the chopping block.

As problematic as my relationship with my mother can be, I'm very thankful I have a mother who values kindness instead of talent. My mother throughout my life told me she's very proud of me for being charitable and kind far more often than being 'smart' or 'artistic'. In fact, she idolizes Princess Diana because of her kindness and charitable acts and has probably lucked out with me in that regard. My mother has also told me that she didn't want a gifted child. She was glad I was smart but not as smart as my cousins who feel the need to find fault in everything using their overly analytical minds.

God gives us our gifts. He does not demand us to be gifted. Talent can better our standard of living as a society but kindness gives us a better quality of life.
