I am switching out my motorized and electric with a cord to a battery pack type. I am tired of gas, bad carbs and long cords. Just slap in a battery pack and weed whack all I want. I can even do it at Mid-Night and no one will even know.

I've never had any of my machines have their carburetor rebuilt (amazingly), but I understand it's quite a problem with some. No, man, even with half a tank of fuel, they start right up in the spring. I love those Stihls.

Trimming at midnight would be impossible where I am with uneven ground and grass three-feet high. But, hey, if you can, and your neighbours don't mind, more power to you.

I wasn't terribly impressed by the recent Phoenix one. It didn't seem to really capture life here, but maybe it's because my Phoenix life consists of work and home.

I did some trimming this evening, and this came to mind. It's not the best, but not too bad for a very rough first draft.
