Hmm. No matter how the results of my IELTS test come out, even if I manage to finally get the minimum CRS score for being selected to apply for emigration to Canada, I probably will be here in Houston another year. ... Do I go for it and respond that I am interested? Or let it slip? :mmh:

I'd take it. I wish you best of luck on your english test, but it is better to have a job lined up just in case. From what I have been taught. Employers understand you quitting for reasons like yours. Just don't quit because you are going to get fired, or because you just don't feel like working there anymore.

If you pass the test, do you have to move immediately? Can you give this employer a 2 month notice or something before you go?

No, no matter what happens, I will not be moving immediately. There are still other steps in the process to come afterward.

Good afternoon everyone! I'm alive! Lol. It's been crazy times lately. I've been super busy lately. When we almost figured out a contractor, they got busy and then we got dumped with 10 inches of snow so we've had to wait longer for the snow to melt and for them to have time to come by and look at our roof.

How has everyone been? I'm just getting over a cold. I hateee the winter, it always makes me feel so sick! Blah

We just happened to come back and visit the forum on the same day ;)

I am wondering about whether there is such a thing as coincidences. I don't know how long you have been away, but I haven't been on for months.

Was anybody else having trouble with the site? I got some kind of database error last night and this morning. It's gone now, though.

magnesium

Seriously having low magnesium in your body can really affect your mental health.

Some people take magnesium supplement or use bath salts with a magnesium in it as it soaks into the skin.

I’ve used magnesium and it really helped me. Google it tons of information

Also I got a salt lamp for my bed room which is really good as well

I would be careful with vitamin b complex because as Anthony said it gives you energy, “we” could mistake this for anxiety or panic.

Tbh you should really be getting your vitamins from good food sources and only take vitamins if you have a deficit in like vitamin b-12 and it has been proven by a doctor. And they usually give it by injection.

Other herbs and medicine can work but everyone is different so you’ve got to research and see what works for you and if you are on medication prescription then always check that it’s self to take along side the medication.
Thank you for all the info. :) I have tried Magnesium before, but it didn't help me very much, if at all. I will have to think about your other suggestions next time I go to the doctor, though!

I hope this week is less "painful" than last week.

I don't understand how its possible, due to weather I worked only 3 days last week and yet it seemed like such a long week. This week being back to the normal 5 days..... if it follows last weeks example.....

I forgot to post the very strange dream I had two nights ago. :ahah:

There was a guy who lived in an apartment and had two chairs at his kitchen table. The chairs were talking to each other and were in love with each other! The guy got tired of hearing them talk all the time so he dropped them out the window, breaking them. o_O

In the next part, I was walking around carrying a stuffed Popplio, looking for my parents and my brother. I walked through a park and a store, and in the store I bought a purple dog figure with movable parts. After that the Popplio morphed into a pink dinosaur and I walked home, but no one was there, so I figured they'd gone to look for me. After walking around town a while my dad drove up to me and I got in the car. We went to some kind of building, where my mom and brother were playing cards!

Then last night I had a dream that I was sitting at the desktop computer trying to type translations from French to English. I was trying to get done quickly, but I kept hitting the wrong keys and having to type parts over again. :p

WOMM... I wonder how bad it is for a person to stay up all night every once in a while... I haven’t slept at all tonight and I go into work in a few hours! I knew I shouldn’t have drank that cup of coffee before dinner! :D

Hope you made it, this happened to me today as well. Last time i got a good sleep was friday night onto saturday, though i did have 2 and half hour sleep on sunday lunchtime. Today i did take a small nap about 1ish to feel refresh for tonight with the runs back and forth to cubs/scouts. I CAN'T WAIT TILL BED NOW

Why is being an adult so expensive? With my birthday coming up next month, my ID and other stuffs were due. Got that taken care of and set up on insurance for my new truck.

Isn't that what owls do?

Lollll :ahah: True, that is what owls do. Is it coincidence that after I start posting multiple posts on CF under my name Owlette, that I don’t sleep that very night?
