I drink it in a shake to kill the taste too. Protein powder, a cup of kefir, serving of coconut flour, serving of ground flaxseed and 8 ounces of milk.

Tart cherry juice I down a cup of that along with 12oz of a sprite knock off (taste better imo) it makes the tart cherry juice less tart.

Not sure if it has digestive benefits but it has more than just the melatonin.

https://www.livestrong.com/article/24160-health-benefits-tart-cherry-juice/

as for Kefir. It can make people drowsy as it can relax the nervous system from what I have read:

http://health.in4mnation.com/water-kefir-and-milk-kefir-benefits/
" Tranquilizer: Those under stress or anxiety can benefit from taking kefir. The amino acid tryptophan helps tranquilize the nervous system creating a relaxing effect. Vitamin B12 is also known to help the body cope well with stress."

I've never tried kefir before. I wonder if it would help my anxiety? Nothing else has helped (a lot). Would probably be good for my digestion too.

Man... That is awesome! Thanks for the info! ^_^ I’m always kind of looking for things to help me sleep better. I sleep terrible if I don’t at least take melatonin.

A lot of people say that gut health is a big part of overall health, and I’m starting to believe them!
My gut tells me it’s true

I think it does! I think I feel better overall when I do more things to help my digestion.

A B-Vitamin Complex might help. It won't take it away completely. But, if you take it consistently, it will give you energy, boost your immune system and should reduce the anxiety. You would have to consult a doctor about it though I'm sure.

Maybe it would. I could certainly use an immune boost too, haha. I will have to keep that in mind for my next appointment. :)

BAH!!

I've had many complexes...:mmh:... complexs..:mmh:...complex's..:mmh:.. complex...:mmh:.. Anyway! they are highly over rated..and... they don't help at all. I still have no idea why we call a "goose" in plural "geese", but "moose" isn't "meese".... :|

Why are a goose so special as to change O to and E.... but not if an M comes first..... :| Conspiracy!!!!!

magnesium

Seriously having low magnesium in your body can really affect your mental health.

Some people take magnesium supplement or use bath salts with a magnesium in it as it soaks into the skin.

I’ve used magnesium and it really helped me. Google it tons of information

Also I got a salt lamp for my bed room which is really good as well

I would be careful with vitamin b complex because as Anthony said it gives you energy, “we” could mistake this for anxiety or panic.

Tbh you should really be getting your vitamins from good food sources and only take vitamins if you have a deficit in like vitamin b-12 and it has been proven by a doctor. And they usually give it by injection.

Other herbs and medicine can work but everyone is different so you’ve got to research and see what works for you and if you are on medication prescription then always check that it’s self to take along side the medication.

I guess it all depends on the person, and if they actually have a B-Vitamin deficiency. I recommended it because I have noticed a difference after taking it myself, but yeah not everyone may experience the same results. :dontcare:

Edit: I just remembered what I take also has Vitamin C, Magnesium, Electrolytes, and bunch of other stuff in it.

Me and L are reading BFG. Roald Dahl is a amazing writer

Oh, what's BFG?

In video games, it stands for Big Freaking Gun. ^_^

But I assume you are referring to something else since this is books, not games. =P

Im no doctor but have you looked into kefir? Its good bacteria that fights off the bad in the digestive system. Im not a doctor so I don't know if it would help or harm as timing can be critical... but may be something you want to look into and decide maybe even ask your doctor about?

Well, the doctor I saw Thursday put me on a probiotic already to aid with digestion, I presume in case the two antibiotics he also prescribed to fight the infection eats up too much of the good bacteria along with the bad. But, I will keep that in mind for the future, especially if this has not completely gone away in three more nights when my medication will run out.
