That dog is so cute! It might be something like a wide-angle lens or whatever that makes him look weird, or he just has a strange snout. I've actually heard of a lamb born with a face that resembles an old (human) man's. Yes, I verified its authenticity.it still had an adorable bleat, though.

And I will also admit to occassionally finding Family Guy funny. Every so often, when the planets align in a certain way.

Brightside to sleeping the evening away and being awake all night. I got some cleaning done.

Even got my sermon notes organized into a binder.

The last one I bought lasted about 2 years without problems...... they changed their product so when I bought a new one a couple weeks ago I went more expensive...... this one is bigger garbage than the last one that was half the price.

Can we please make stuff in America or Japan again?I dont mind paying more, just make the darn things I buy last.

ADD is a blessing given to me from God. If all I had to keep me warm was my OCD Id go crazy.

I fail to see the problem...though, I hate being in church hungry. My old preacher once commented "I always try to keep my sermons under 30 minutes because I realize that I'm usually the second-to-last or third-to-last thing between you and lunch."

Apparently the dog, Tonkey, is a shar pei (sp?) breed with a recessive gene that gives her a fluffy coat or a bear coat. I think she looks like a stuffed animal or a teddy bear. She's so cute but give me a mutt any day.

Yes, being OCD on certain things.... its about the only thing that helps me keep my sanity and not drive others crazy with my OCD.

Exactly! The smartest dog I ever owned was a mutt. She knew how to open doors, to look both ways before crossing the street, and things like that. She was the perfect blend between friendly and "if you mess with my master I will rip your head off".

Wish I'd had that to help me three years ago when I suffered from scrupulosity.

(I can laugh about it sometimes, now. Just like I can now laugh about the one time I ever got drunk from thirteen years ago. Such incidents just weren't pretty at the time.)

Thanks very much for your information, @sundewgrower! It's nice to hear someone with experience discussing the subject.

I Googled 'popping wood', and that means raising the grain, correct? If so, I did that and sanded (220g) twice before applying stain. I'm thinking of going over a few spots with some 320g before putting on the polyurethane because I did a poor initial job of the second stain since it's a little rough in a couple places.

EDIT - Or is it 'popping' as in creaking and squeaking floors?

It's raising the grain. More specifically I'm referring to how oil based finishes won't raise the grain as much as waterbase. Sometimes, for some woods it'll warp them, if it's thin, or unstable. So that's why oil is nice.
But usually waterbase is fine...If you hit spots you might see some shine difference. Just depends on how crazy you'd like to be
