Erm... Wow. I can't really describe the exact feeling that's crawling all over my skin right now, but it's a lot like looking back through an old baby photo album, or that feeling you experience whilst watching an episode of The Inbetweeners - you know, when you cover your face with the pillow to hide from the impending disaster and/or cringe that's about to descend.

Utterly horrifying.

had an awesome weekend! got all my errands done! I also started and finished creating another dungeon for my card game and got to play test it in the same day! Worship went great, played a new song and it was awesome. I made the best stir fry I have ever made! the flavor was literally perfect, I really hope I can replicate that next time I cook it!

That's actually true, and so I find it super ironic when people say that soccer or baseball is boring and they're football fans. Football is actually a lot like baseball in the sense that a lot of the action is actually happening underneath the surface.



I can relate right now, though not just to my own church, but to the Church. It's tough, hang in there.

Soccer is bad cause I played it and it was even dull to play.

If they shortened the baseball season to a number were a loss mattered, I MIGHT watch. But as it stands.... a 50 loss season is still "decent".

As for basketball, it ranks right up there with soccer for me.
Hockey, Id actually likely enjoy IF I could follow the puck, but since I cant, nope. Without the puck Im simply left watching two gangs of aggressive ice skaters. May as well be watching "Westside story, on ice!"

90 minutes? That's nothing - cricket can last for five days and end in a draw.

And while that may seem ridiculous, sometimes it can lead to compelling watching with one team trying desperately to hang on till time is up and the game is declared a draw, and the other team doing all they can to gain a victory.

Hahaha, I'm just playing with you. I hate sports, period. My air force daddy wanted a son who was athletic and all he got was an autistic boy who was more interested computers, history, theology, and art.

So they say, but "my nation" also loves things like Seinfeld, "Reality" TV etc. The Cowboys also label themselves "America's Team" yet they haven't been relevant until recent luck. If America has a team its the team on almost everyone's lips, which would likely be the Pats, love them or hate them.
I constantly disagree with my fellow Americans.

Im in the South and in Texas, I'll tell anyone. Soccer is crap. It doesnt make me right, doesnt make me wrong.... my opinion carries just as much weight as theirs to them. If they want to riot..... big shocker there. Latin America to England soccer fans will riot over the slightest provocation cause.... well soccer is dull and they gotta do something. if soccer were good like American football they would watch the game more than set cities on fire.

Im sure your dad isn't as disappointed as you think. IF he is, thats HIS issue and failure as a dad, projecting his own disappointments in life of what HE didnt become and has nothing to do with you..... the only Father you TRULY need worry about not disappointing is God..... even when we fall short there, His love and mercy doesn't.

Yes to some extent I agree, which is why the only sport I like is football. However basketball is one of the ONLY sports where using your butt to distance another player is common occurrence for ALL players. No thanks

Sometimes I find it hard to discern between what might be a real problem or if it's just my anxiety going off...and it is the absolute most horrible feeling I've ever felt. Funny thing is...only a few years ago, I felt like I was okay, like I was just a regular (somewhat weird) girl.

Now these issues have been creeping up...sometimes I can handle it and actually be happy. Other times, I become someone I am not...a sobbing ball of frustration and misery.

Perhaps this is coming around because I'm not the goody Christian I once was. I still believe God is out there, but my bible must have an inch or two of dust on it...and I feel no inclination to go back to that.

I just...don't know what to do anymore. Last thing I want to do is go to a doc and start popping pills. I have distractions, which work for a while...but that's just it. They are just distractions. I have friends who are always there for me...they give me encouragement...but it's not enough. Or rather, it has no effect on me as much as it did before. Someone can tell me a thousand times it's okay, everything will be okay; but I'm starting to not believe it anymore.

I just feel like giving up. I don't know what to do.

If you are going to attack basketball for the touching, Football is much worse when it comes to touching. They do that in football. With the tight pants. Huddling together. Patting each other on bottoms.
Tackling...

On that merit, baseball and soccer should be your favorite sports.

I'm sure boxing and wrestling (oh my goodness wrestling! real wrestling I mean) are no goes for you.

I don't care for football or basketball. I just find humorous your criticism of basketball is for the inherent... gayness of the sport
