I just listened to that one!! I hope I get to see them in concert soon. I had a chance last year and was really mad I missed it. I'm sort of glad they're becoming more mainstream now.

They became mainstream when they allowed Twilight to use one of their songs imo lol.

Even though I like the Twilight movies I have to say that the Muse song placement was one of the worst song placements I've seen and I was dissapointed in Muse for allowing Supermassive Black Hole to be used how it was.

But as for myself, I know I am always requesting your prayers for something like this, but, I am heavily weighed down by a mental burden this night. I even requested to leave work early just now because they could see it taking a physical toll on me. I am tempted greatly to commit the same act unbecoming of me as a knight once again as I had fallen prey to a couple of weeks ago. And to further complicate matters, I was suddenly struck by sexual attraction to my lady co-worker and friend Mayella. I do not understand why, but THIS CANNOT HAPPEN. This cannot be my true self. I will not allow it. It has nothing to do with Mayella herself; she is a nice enough girl for me to consider her my friend. But still, these attractions and feelings emotionally exhaust and outright frighten me sometimes. I know they are perfectly natural, I know that. But for me personally, the individual, they do not belong. Not in my heart of hearts, anyway.

But, thankfully, I already feel a little bit better just writing out this post at least, getting this burden out to someone.

Thanks so much,I went to the doctor today and he says its just allergies so im on
some allergy/sinus medicine and cloriseptic throat lozengers. Already im feeling a little better,though my eyes are sleepy feeling. I will keep you in prayer to stay strong in the Lord.

Dude sexual attraction is completely normal... just try to avoid dwelling on the lustful thoughts and it's all peachy imo. That's how I think anyway.

I'll have to look into it. My favorite thus far is Interview with a Vampire with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.

Nope. I had friends growing up who went into that subculture. Was pretty dark stuff. I just like the movies/books for entertainment value... I don't obsess or get dark about any of it.

Twilight is so infuriating because Meyer has some really good ideas at the foundation of it, but the execution is just horrible. So much wasted potential. And then the movies make it even worse, partly because they eliminate some of the good ideas in favor of ramping up the love triangle.

I know ... *sigh* ... I know. But even just the attraction, just feels like it does not belong in the heart of this particular aspiring knight. Unfortunately, while it was a thing of beauty intended by the Lord, somehow over the centuries since creation we mortals have managed to screw it all up. If we had not done so, I imagine that I would not even be having this struggle at all right now. Romantic attraction and the company of beautiful and noble female friends I welcome, and somehow I have managed to keep it at that with all of my lady friends Sheena, Nicole, Quieted, Lioness, Brianna, and everyone else here in our community regardless of how physically attractive I believe them to be. But when it goes into sexual territory, such as with Mayella, i just feel that something is not right, that it doesn't belong. It's just ... in my way. I don't really know a better way to describe why this presents a problem to me rather than accepting it as natural. Just that it is a burden to me right now.

But know this, everyone, that when I say all of this I dare not think poorly of any of you who may have been with someone - or even two or three - before marriage in your own lives. Not at all. Just in case you were wondering if my talking this way means that I would be the type to judge something like not being a virgin before marriage. Please do not misunderstand. This is a personal battle for me.
