I love how sunny and bright is was for the majority of the day. The book I'm reading is great and painful all at the same time. I would certainly recommend reading "The Broken Way" by Ann Voskamp.

I am not too keen on sex before marriage (accidents happen but I'm not amicable planning for it) and would like a Christian. Between those two factors it really killed the pool. But yeah I was sort of hoping for something but I didn't find anyone to message.

Right!? I'm a simple guy, long as I've got food and movies, tv, books, and music, I'm generally very happy. I don't covet things other people have, I don't need a giant mansion or a beach house somewhere.

But when I see a cherry muscle car on the street? "man, life is so unfair!"

I never overthink it. I just say: "it's just another one of God's gifts" and then move on.

If you have a spare few grand kicking about then don't sleep on it. Consider it a down payment and then be the one making the rumble rather than the one just hearing it.

If I had a few spare grand sitting around it wouldnt be going to a car with rumble....... it would be going to solve a border issue.

Id rather solve that issue than ever have a car with rumble.

No regrets if I have to trade my dream of muscle car in to solve it.

If I owned a mint 1969 charger (my dream car) I would sell it without hesitation or regret to do so.

So, an update on my knee. It still has its bad moments and a few times when the pain is more manageable, but I still think I need to go in. Trying to raise a few bucks to go to urgent care. It's swollen in three spots and just not really getting better. Hopefully they can help me manage the pain some and maybe get me a brace.

Actually, a lot of people with kids move in the summer and a lot of college students move in August. I can see a dating site being more active in August, because a bunch of people just moved and don't know anyone.

Agreed- body positivity needs to extend to all. I'm doing my part to show love to the short man club (conversely, he's doing a good job of showing love to the awkward tall girls community)

Well, I don't think women have to put an effort into dating short men if they don't want too. Men don't listen to the hypocritical body positive campaigns anyways, and I don't see them making much of an effort going out with people they don't like. So it wouldn't be fair if women had to enact that effort.

I'm just more concerned with how the undesired body types of both genders are treated socially. Not whether or not they deserve dates. Anyone can get a date if they want too. Many short men who think women shouldn't discriminate against shorter men often discriminate look-wise themselves, so they really shouldn't be talking. I mean people are free to go after who they want, but usually these things equal up naturally. The percentage of women and men is pretty much even so people will end up having to pair up with someone.

Yeah.... My love life is complicated too. It's part of why I'm just hanging around my crush instead of asking her out, lol.

But, if this makes sense, "complicated" doesn't mean "hopeless." Honestly, you're cool. Any girl who's smart, has a pretty smile, and knows Doctor Who is pretty desirable in my book, never mind any medical conditions.

So yeah. Here's hoping you find someone near you who feels the same way.

I recall seeing a plethora of women who seemed pretty interesting about two Augusts ago. At the moment I'm at home just working on my degree--it isn't my top priority but I would like to connect with a women locally. If not I might enact a nuclear option and take up a job in another country for a season or two....
