  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's an ad campaign aimed at teens in an attempt to reduce methamphetamine use. It's slogan is, "Meth. Not even once."

The joke was that CF (Christian Forums) is addictive.

Yeah, I got it after a minute. I wonder why the internet is so addictive. It's weird. I used to be on another message board and it was super addictive, too.

I've noticed this recurring trend when looking back through my posts.

I post a plethora of silly and random (and even pointless) posts in succession, and then, every fifth post or so, I have a bit of a "Winston Churchill Moment" and get all impassioned and emotional. I don't even really realise that I'm doing it, it's almost like an ovulation I go through.

I'm weird. So very very weird.

Decided to pay my co-workers a little visit. Walking there was unsteady. My manager asked me if I could work for an hour until a co-worker gets back from an appointment. I agreed to it and that hour turned into three and a half hours because my co-worker got back from earning her driver's license and was sent home to celebrate, leaving me to take her place.

Nearly collapsed at one point and was sent home. Still waiting for that doctor's appointment to lower the darn medication. It's been at least nine weeks I have been putting up with this and I'm really sick of this bullspit.
