What is with everybody not sleeping tonight.

I can't sleep either....I've been trying for an hour, its just not working.

Must have something to do with the full moon!
The full moon might have something to do with it, but I got back from the moors hours ago.

- This is a great thread.

- I can't believe my kids are old enough or at least equipped enough to manage a computer by themselves. I'm actually sitting here doin my thing online, and watching them do their thing online. They told me "we CAN DOOO EET MOM". Time flies. They're growing too fast.

- It was nice to walk outside this morning and the air have a slight chill to it. Perfect. I hope heaven's that way.

- It was a full moon last night......no wonder.

- I have a some major clothing pieces to get for the kids today. I'm glad they wanted to "chill" before heading out because I'm just not feelin it right at this moment.

- I will return to work in two days after having been off for ten days for spring break vacation. I have workaholic tendencies, but it's been really nice to cook nearly every meal, have calm routines going to bed/waking up, having time to just stop and pay attention to some little thing the kids just have to show me right then, having the house really clean (HAAAAL-LEJUAH), and just plain not being stressed out. I'm not saying staying home isn't hard, but it's for sure less heartbreaking.

-...I didn't do some CEUs I was supposed to do this week. Eh, I'll just do it at work Monday if the patient load is down.

- I need some butter and garlic for tonight. Going to try making cauliflower mash potatoes.

- my son picks his nose when he's thinking..nice...sitting here watching him do this. boys

Sometimes I think that it's not so good when I naturally try to see the good in people. I end up getting disappointed when they do thoughtless things. Oh well. But then again, I recently had low expectations of some people and they pleasantly surprised me. So, I guess it all balances out in the end.

Some days I really want to jump on a plane (well, in it; not on top and commit a sort of suicide), but where would I stay until I found paid work? Stupid little details. After years of researching places for where I would like to move to, I finally know one place I'd really like to go and two other places as well (places with a lot more jobs and fun). But I suppose there are worse places to be for the time being, especially since winter is going away...slowly but surely. And I have used this time back here as a way to create closer ties with family members, some by accident and others intentionally. Though I know all but one would be happy for me to relocate. Even he might be happy for me by now.

I, sometimes, wonder if I'll have problems disciplining my son in the future. I'm such a goofball. Mama doesn't care about making a fool of herself. However, children need to respect their parents in order to listen. Ugh. I feel as though the word "pushover" will describe me at some point. I hate that. Hate it. Even though I think we both balance things well; we're both serious when we need to be and goofy every other time. Maybe we'll both help each other out. Who knows.

I've noticed that a few people don't have their gender showing. I find that to be odd. I understand hiding age (especially since I hide mine), religion or nationality, but why hide your gender? I also didn't understand why someone would hide their married icon until someone explained why they did. Though I still wish we had relationship icons and that they were mandatory.

Oh, and Louise (from my avatar) is awesome. I do love the quatrain that Noodles made for me (and it, along with the matching avatar, will probably make a reappearance), but I love Louise, too.

Eta: It annoys me when I mean to click on the title (or page number) of a thread and instead click on the OP's profile link. I'm not trying to stalk you people, I swear. Though sometimes I do get bored and look at various people's pages.

I'm graduated a year ago w/ a degree in elementary ed. and I substituted at middle school this week for kids with various problems and issues. The older students treated me pretty unkindly (and I'm trying to stay positive). I promised to do it again next week and I'm just a little worried about it.
