Apparently my family doesn't believe I am truly an atheist.

Kind of hurts. If they knew the kind of emotinal torment I went through when I lost my faith they'd know how serious I am about that term.

Well technically I'm an agnostic atheist, but they think I'm secretly a theist who's just angry at God..

Shocking really.. also a little surprised my two siblings are still Christians. I looked at my old churches facebook and website and I'm surprised to see that many of the youth are still Christians.. I guess I was under the impression more people my age are not atheists.. but that's not true. It was true for the Christian forum teen section I was apart of, lol..

I probably spend too much time on the internet, lol.

For once, a bar event where I am not upset afterwards. I went, wearing my print Isaac Mizrahi dress and black heels. And it wasn't bad although I was alone. I was relieved...and it feels good to be relieved.

I am sorry your family does not really believe you.
though, I do know a fair number of atheists who just seem to be theists who are angry at God, but I never assumed this about you.
