What you believe, does it make sense to you?

I've only always wondered, since this is towards Christians mainly. I do have a hard time believing that a person can love everyone as they love themselves and fear is considered a good thing to you out of salvation. There is also the different sects of Christianity as well, but perhaps that's for the better. Overwhelmed by that faith you have, I guess I'm looking to understand you if you don't mind.
