were i God, then i would be omniscient and therefore, i would know precisely what to do or not do, as the case maybe.

using my human mentality, i would like to think that i would cause it to be that sentient beings throughout the multiverse were living in prosperity, happiness and harmony.

however, since i'm human.. i would also make Vanilla Iced Cream the "official" Iced Cream of God and thus, all you chocolate or "me" forbid, Neopolitan, consumers are in a world of frozen deliciousness hurt!!

If I was God...wow. This has definite possibilities. Let's just say, George W. Bush would not be president anymore. Racists and homophobes would be in for some serious hurt. Child molesters, child abusers, wife beaters, rapists, and other disgusting people would be in for even more hurt than the racists and homophobes. Poverty and suffering would be gone. Teaching would be the highest paid profession.

Well, since I took the time out to respond to the quesitons and the inconvenient portions aren't going to be addressed, but we are going to stick with these over-simplified assertions against God... I suppose I'll handle the questions differently.

You didn't stop the rapist.
You were accounable for your actions that lead to the situation of either while knowing or not knowing allowed the child to be raped.

If you wish to claim the only thing saving you is that you are not omniscient and you couldn't possibly act in a manner to stop the child due to ignorance, then that would be possibly true with the exception of chance contradicting. However, you then have also just disqualified yourself from being able to judge an omniscient God. You see, you show no qualification to be capable of judging Him and you are in fact confessing that you are not qualified as part of a jury of peers.

I don't know the reasons God wouldn't stop the rape. In fact I cannot even immagine or accept someone trying to justify a reason not to avoid a rape. Maybe morality isn't applicable to a God if He really exists. All I know is that I would stop the rape and all the sufferings in the world if I was God for a day, cosidering my human morallity. And you, considering your human morality, what would you do?

As a response to this and the question to me, the baby would be a victim of the free will of MAN, given by God, not the free will of God. You're twisting words, no one said God wanted the baby raped. We could go on for months about why bad things happen and why God doesn't stop them, but that's another topic.

Our limited and conditional free will is nothing compared to the free will of God.

I would thank God for putting up with rude, ungrateful, disobedient humans for centuries, and beg Him to take back the job.

If He insisted I take the job for the day - I turn my back on those who take Him for granted, and I would allow those who have never experienced the beauty of fellowship with Him to know the joy of being in His presence for a few hours, and then take it away.

Why would all of these people be in for some serious hurt? Why would you not just rehabilitate them and make them good? If you were God would you enjoy putting the hurting on the ignorant? That hardly seems loving and tolerant to me. Especially if you would have the power to make them good. Some of these people were probably victims themselves at one time.

Seems to me your post makes a pretty good case for hell, though.

I never claimed I would be loving and tolerant. I don't believe the people I mentioned deserve it.
