CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not that I admit to having cooled off at all. I am still upset over this encounter with the employees. . . and I was never mad to begin with. I just think it's sad to think about all the other people out there that have been treated unfairly by these people and didn't know the steps to take in order to get the problem resolved.
I guess in many ways my sense of frustration comes from being a former employee and loving this company and my customers and knowing that at any given moment they can be treated as I was just because they expected a CPI employee to do their job.
It's truly sad that we as Americans can't just do what we apply for in our job descriptions but rather we have to complain about our jobs. We after all are getting paid to do our jobs are we not? So if you don't want to do your job and the description in which you have then my suggestion is for them to resign. . . I am sure that there are plenty of other hard working people out there that are willing to do the same job and not complain and actually do it the right way.

Your caps lock usage said otherwise. You are a christian first. We are supposed to turn the other cheek or has this all been forgotten? I am curious why when I say that is life I am told that my life sucks. Interesting but not surprising...

Nah I am not full on trolling, I was playing too for the most part. I do enjoy getting people riled up on these forums though with my typically dissenting opinions. Nothing like sitting back and letting the rage flow through. It's a bad habit but my day has been pretty awful so yeah. Here it wasn't so much trolling as I just saw their side and your case had alot of anger/caps lock/and the lawsuit bit just made their case seem more rational. I've learned to read how people post on stuff. Those were tell tell signs of anger. Granted I may just be over reading it but that's how I saw it. So yeah it was a half and half bag of me just poking at ya and trying to get people to understand to chill. If I went to far so sue me pun intended ok I'm done.

Arbor Place Mall is in the Atlanta area. Would it not have been quicker and less stressful to call one of the other Sears in or near Atlanta to attempt to get an appointment? Surely you had, if not a GPS, at least a cell phone with internet on it to look up phone numbers?
It sounds to me like you had the "I'm a former employee so I know more than the current employees" syndrome. My old roommate, who used to work at Lowe's, and later worked with me for a Lowe's contractor, pulled that on the employees there all the time. While I'm not saying that they were not wrong, it's clear to me by the tone of this entire thread that they might have sensed a threat, anger, or disturbance in your voice and attitude, just as many of those whom you replied to have also sensed. Take your lumps and move on, especially if stress and getting worked up is an issue in your pregnancy.

update: After my e-mails and phone calls to the corporate headquarters and to a few "friends in high places" I can say that the "problem" or "problems" rather have been taken care of. The Ceo of the company did his "Rounds" in our region after learning that DM's were not doing their jobs and were crossing through different companies. Camera footage was pulled and serious inquiries were made at the potential of some of the employees of this studio. To my knowledge. These specific ladies no longer work for this company.
