Do you believe then that any Christians that believe that God used evolution to create species are committing blasphemy?
If you mean mankind: yes.

I specifically meant Christians (or at least those who self-identify as Christians).
I said, "yes."

If Christians believe God created mankind via evolution, they are committing blasphemy.

Got it.

Do you believe that blasphemous material should be censored or otherwise prevented from consumption by the public?

So you are opposed to the separation of Church and State. You are opposed to the US Constitution.
First of all, the OP is poorly worded.

I was given the impression that, despite the fact that it is a public library, somehow I have been given the authority to pick and choose what goes in it.

If I were to do what I said I would do ... that is, exclude books on evolution ... for the second time, the Antichrist Lovers Union would be all over me.

I'd be lucky if I ever worked another job.

Since our tax dollars support public works, this God-forsaken Christian nation has a say in what goes on, and Christianity can take a hike.

Ever heard what happened to Bob Jones University, or Lester Roloff Ministries?

Satan is getting more and more authority in this country as Christianity gives way to his philosophies.

The exact term for academians to ponder-then-ridicule is: psychoheresy.

But for the record, this is a poorly-written thread OP.

The responses that led me to recognise that you opposed the separation of Church and State and were therefore opposed to (At least part of) the US Constitution were specific answers to questions by pitabread and were connected with the OP only inasmuch as they were in the same thread.

Consequently the poor wording or otherwise has nothing to do with your response to my observation, a response that was itself poorly worded. I ask you again, this time directly rather than by implication:
Are you opposed to the separation of Church and State?
Are you opposed to a portion of the US Constitution?

Even the title of this thread doesn't make sense.

I'm done here.
That, AV, is dishonest. You have made statements that have clear implications. The statements are independent of the OP. You now refuse to answer the statements. The vacuum that leaves encourages speculation that you have recognised what you have clearly implied run counters to how you see yourself, or wish to be seen. You can correct that by answering those questions now.

Perhaps he meant "bookstore," rather than "public library"?

Why so? Certainly someone has to pick and choose what books a library acquires. Maybe the thread title should be "Librarian for a Day".

Picking and choosing what books a library acquires is not the same as allowing books in a public library.

After all, one may have to pick and choose on the basis of the library's budget.

Don't know, don't care anymore.
Because you have been challenged you choose to run away. Sure, you are still posting, but you will not address the questions arising from your own posts. I'll just remind readers - based upon your own statements, you believe that it is wrong to separate state and church and as a consequence the US Constitution is flawed.
There is nothing dishonourable in those two views, yet you seem embarrassed by their clear expression, else why refuse to confirm them?
