Speaking as a former protestor of the Viet Nam war: I was just a teenager then. I knew little about politics. I understood one thing, that I hated war.

Does anyone here actually like war? Of course not! Do i enjoy seeing innocent civilians die? Certainly not!

Did America want to get involved in WWII? We wanted to remain in our own country. Ignorance is bliss, so the saying goes. That is until the Japanese attacked us at Pearl Harbor. Then we were awakened from our dream of safety at all costs and our hoping that our ememies would just magically cease and desist.

If these nations had their way, Germany's Hitler for one, we probably wouldn't be typing comfortably in our homes arguing about Israel doing all She can both to defend Herself and making sure bombs don't continue to hit Her and kill Her innocent civilians. If Japan had destroyed America you may not be enjoying the freedom of complaining about your Government (if you're American.) There will be no Christianforums if the Islamic Fundies rule the world. Half the pograming you enjoy on television would not be available for your viewing pleasure. So much for "American idol." I may not agree with men looking at women in mini skirts but be prepared fellows. Women you can forget about voting and don't even dream of kissing your boy friend in public.

When they start dropping bombs on our shores, when our freedoms are threatened, when our comfortable lifestyles are challenged, when our women are placed under Islamic Law, when it's illegal to be a Christian then maybe people will get why Israel had to take the measures that they are taking. But it seems as though some comfortable spoiled Americans and Europeans don't get this. They are enamored with Hezbollah (sp?) blind to the fact that they (we) may be the next target of Jihad.

What is Israel? A democracy! How are you able to enjoy your freedom? People fought and died so you can be free.

When the bombs fell on Pearl Harbor that's when America woke up. Wow! People out there really do hate us and want to distroy our country. Israel has known this for a long, long, time and She won't give up Her freedom. Israel is a friend of democracy.

I went into the service in July of '68, but became a "Love Child in Uniform" and hung out with the Hippies more than I did with my fellow Airmen . My Dad served in the Korean War about the time I was born.

That's right. People don't seem to understand that Hizbollah and Hamas are our enemies, and that Israel is busy fighting terrorist organizations who are the enemy of us ALL. For this effort, they get little but "tsk tsk tsk" from the news media and the UN. How hypocrital and undiscerning is that?

Hamas & Hibollah are dedicated to the slaughter of anyone who doesn't agree with their narrow fundamentalist views; it makes no difference if those people are innocent civilians going about the ordinary business of their lives. They are not exactly devoted to the proposition of Live and Let Live!

Kisstheson is right, if they had their way, we wouldn't even be typing on these computers with the freedom to speak our convictions. We'd be imprisoned, tortured and killed. That is the reality.

These terrorist organizations are simply Nazis in Middle Eastern dress.

People might be interested to know that Hitler in his day was close friends with the head of terrorist organizations in "Palestine".....they were in perfect harmony; their objectives were the same.

The real history of Islam is not secret. I am sure conspiracy theories can be made of any and all Islamic fanatical onslaughts. The History of the Islamic peoples are replete with murder, conquer, mayhem, and more.

Over 30 years ago I made a prediction then that Islam would the number one enemy of the world one day. I am not a prophet, put understanding the thrust of their religion makes them the most dangerous group of people on the face of the earth.

Islam is responsible for more than 20,000,000 murders in the 20th century.

No other religion can compare to this attitude, belief, and persuasion.

Who out there in any religious teach their children to commit suicide, to die for a house full of virgins in heaven, and more. What kind of religion is this?

Isn't it great to live in comfort and freedom off the backs of those who sacificed their lives and fought that you could type Christian scriptures at this forum? Do you believe you could do that if this country was ruled by the Isamic powers who hate Israel, America gang? That will never happen here? If it happens in Israel, it can happen here. We all never thought planes would bring down the World Trade Center. Just like WWII the same mind set and then America had a rude awakening on December 7th,1941.

The Bible also says there is a time for war and a time for peace.

Jesus said in Luke 22:35-38. "Let him who has no sword buy one."
The disciples replied "Lord here are two."
Jesus said "It is enough."

Sometimes the right thing to do is use force in fighting evil. When Jesus clensed the temple He actually made a whip with cords and used it. He was taking a stand against evil and certainly wasn't acting peaceful. If you saw a child being raped on a street corner are you going to stand there and say "let's peacefully nogotiate."
