"Cell Phone? I remeber something like that..." Jakal said, then his eyes turned red, and he looked at the cell phone. Jakal's knew cybornetic parts scanned it, all the information it gave, was how too shut it down and how too destroy it. "Wierd, so, ummm, Hey! Maybe your the cause of this raleigh! I mean, it makes sense, you're the only one who didn't change..." Jakal said, a look of suspicoin covered his face, "Where do you come from? And don't lie, we'll find out sooner or later if you do.."

Raleigh looked worried, but I took care of things for him. Well, almost. "Hey, uh," I hesitated, then bent over to Raleigh, "Which one is he, again?"
"That's Slowdown," he said, pointing to the offender, "the ghosty guy crying over there is the blob-thing, the dragon I don't know, and Caresse is still, well, out. And you, I think you're a yeti, or something like it."
I nodded, then resumed, "Listen, Slowdown, you wanted to tag along with us, and you can shove off anytime you'd like. I say Raleigh's all right, and if you don't like it, you can face off against me, got it?"
"No, no," Raleigh yelled at us both. "Listen, let's use reason. First, not everything changed; the town's location did not change for one. I didn't change, I don't think, anyway. Neither did this guy who keeps calling me. At least, his voice didn't change.
"Second, he also said that Spidrax did this, and you all agree that the Spidrax has been around before any of you met me.
"Third--" he began, but was cut off by another jet of steam. "Uh, we need to get out of here before something happens. I don't like the way this steam keeps acting."
Raleigh was beginning to sound like the leader of our group, but he seemed to know more than I did about what was happening, so I didn't mind too much. I did mind him turning to the newcomers, that Veloop, or whoever, and the dragon, and saying, "You two, ghost-man and dragon, if you want to come with us, and you promise to be friendly, you are welcome to come along."
"Do you think this is a good idea, Raleigh?" I asked him privaly after I drew him aside.
"We'll need all the help we can find if we want to stop this Spidrax-thing, so we have to risk it," he said wisely. "You had better carry Caresse until she wakes up. You are the biggest, after all."
"Right," I nodded in agreement. This Raleigh was smarter than I thought. "Just one more thing; what is a yeti?"

((Okay, I decided that not being able to touch anything is going to make for a very boring character. So I was wondering, Shadow, is it all right if my character discovers he has Telekinetic powers in this form? Thanks.))

Wiping a stray tear from his cheek, Veloroop nodded to Raleigh, "I'll be good. It's not like I can be bad. I can't even touch anything. And it will give me something to do. Maybe I can be like a scout or something." As Veloroop began moving toward the middle of the group, he began to hope that perhaps he had found his purpose. I will make a good scout. I will not fail this time. Then, later, I will work out my evil schemes.

A spout of steam suddenly burst out underneath Veloroop. Some of his outer appendages blew upwards with the force, but for the most part Veloroop stayed intact, and he didn't really even feel the steam. Hmm...well that's nice at least.

Jakal stayed silent for a couple of seconds, "Agreed, and, don't call me Slowdown, its Jakal untill further notice..." he finished then looked at the ghost-thingy, "A scout, sure, but....never mind, I suppose betryaing us would really do nothing for you in your current state.."

The dragon blinked, then a look of understanding came over him. "Oh sorry, I was a human, until that weird thing happened a second ago. With a laser sword and blaster pistol. I was following you, wondering how to join up without seeming threatening, when, well, this thing happened. Looking over to the right, the large flying beast noticed a small, fitting to the hand-shaped, cylinder. His eyes lit up. Hey look! My lasersword! Oh shoot, with these claws I won't be able to use it. Anyone wanna use it? Because I don't think it's much use to me at the moment."
((If you don't want the lasersword to survive the change, then just tell me, there's a cool edit button I can use.))

(((You can decide what changes and what does not. I suggest that the character changes, but not the personality or memory. But I leave that to your discretion.)))

So that was how the first change happened. I was not too fond of it, but being taller and stronger than everyone else was pretty nice. At least, it was better than my third change. But, we come to that in time. We now had our quest: to understand this Spidrax thing and find a way to unchange the changes. We had a direction and a guide, though questionable, I admit. Most of all, we were ready to begin our adventure.

I picked up Caresse as Raleigh advised. As much as I didn't like taking on new members, it did seem wrong to just leave her. As I slung her carefully over my shoulder, I turned to the ghosty-man. "All right, Velopo. You want to be our scout, then lead on. Southward we go."
"Sidrick," Raleigh said from my side, "Be careful with her. She's not a sack of potatoes." In a lower tone, he added, "I think."
"I thought I was careful," I replied.
Raleigh shook his head.
"I guess I've got to get used to this new body." I said as I took a step to follow our scout.

(((Ok, scout [A.K.A. SamsonX], take us there. You wanted the job, so it's up to you to describe the city to us. Good luck, and I guess I can help you if you want.)))

Veloroop nodded earnestly, then immediately started marching southward ahead of the group. In a triangular, zig-zagging sort of path, Veloroop made his way through the steaming plain. He often had to inform the group of an unsafe section of terrain or a particularly steamy part of the plain.

Veloroop felt little fatigue, and he began to enjoy his job. He was actually succeeding, something he had done very little of in his past. Of course, there had been the time Veloroop nearly ran the group into a herd of stampeding Trawgagas, but that had been solved rather quickly.

Slowly the terrain began to change. Slow rolling hills turned into a large mountain range. Steaming geysers were replaced with strange, rolling rocks that were attracted to the feet of passerbys. They had no effect on Veloroop, but the others found themselves steeping over to flick the tripping rocks away more and more often.

And then, they were there. A monstrous crag in the mountain suddenly appeared in front of the group. When they looked down, they suddenly discerned a small sign that read, "Welcome to Tishash. Please press the green button to enter."

Veloroops shrugged, but one of the group decided to just push the green button. Suddenly the ground underneath them lifted up and began to hover down into the gorge. Now they could see the city.

Tishash was no normal strange city. The entire city was cut out of the gorge's walls. The air in the gorge itself was full of small pieces of terrain floating around, carrying cargo and people from place to place. Lights and signs flickered in what seemed to be shop windows. There were advertisements for everything at reduced prices. The entire group soon realized what Tishash was, an extremely large, ongoing, permently located fleamarket.

Jakal chuckled to himself, Now this is my kind of place! I think I'll rob that place first then that one...hey! Whait a minute, why am I thinking about commiting crimes? Jakal focused on some of his new memories, he had been a big criminal, robbing large amounts of credits and goods, his cybornetic parts helping him keep at least 3 steps ahead of the law, he was the perfect criminal. No, it's wrong to steal for my own benifit, but I shouldn't just let my talents go to waist. SUddenly a card popped into his hands, he looked for the nearest credit machine, he went to it and after looking around and making sure no security was in the area, he hooked a wire on his wrist into the machine, then put in his credit-card. After downloading a large some of credits from hundreds of different accounts in a matter of minutes, he came back to the group and said, "This new form of mine has the correct cyrrency for this city...and a lot of it, so anything we need, we can get," Jakal had said it with a straight face, but on the inside, he felt like he was doing something wrong, No...it's....for the best.

When Caresse finally came to she was extremely out of sorts. She squirmed and groaned a little and then whatever had a hold of her set her down on the ground. After she had set for a few minutes regaining her balance and sense of awareness she stood and looked at the group. Why was everything different? And why was everything huge??

Caresse looked down and saw that her legs had been replaced with short, stubby ones and her arms also. "What!?" she said aloud, "A gnome?! How did I become a gnome???"

((Could we have a list in the OOC of what everyone changed to?))

Jack was, to say the least, surprised at the "city". Even more surprised when the cyborg guy came back and announced that he had basically infinite credits. Looking around with large, dragon eyes; he absorbed the view, wondering why he liked it so much, but dismissing it as just some dragonish habit, which of course it was. The certain, small type of dragon that he now was liked colorful and interesting things, and could sit for hours examining a painting or an interesting device of some sort.

"Whoa," I said, amazed "This city is nothing like I remember it to be. It used to be a little thing that sat in the plains. Now it's...wow..."
"Indeed," Raleigh said with just as much amazement. "It's like nature and technology perfected together."
"Mm." I added, when Caresse began to wriggle. I set her down gently (I think). She threw some kind of tantrum, but I wasn't worried about her at the moment. "What is our next step, Raleigh? Should we--"
"I don't know, Caresse. A lot has seemed to change. We think it is the Spidrax."
"Raleigh!" I said louder.
"What?" he replied in kind.
"What do we do now? I think we should find some lodging for the night."
"Well--" he began, but was stopped by a noise from his pocket. "Oh, my cell phone."
He took it and openned it again. "Yes...yes...we...yes...The Brown Bag Inn... yes, I... I understand... No, we don't, but we can...okay... Well, there is one thing, Who are you?... What should I call you then?... Ishmael? Well, okay. I... hello? Hello? Gone."
"What was that about?" I asked eagerly.
"Uh, we have reservations at, uh, the Brown Bag Inn, uh, on Gregor and Milliard. We should get a taxi to take us there. It can be placed on the inn bill."
Odd, I thought, but said, "Well, I'm the tallest, so I'll be best to get one." Waving my hand as noticably as I could, I bellowed "Taxi!"
Another platform like that we came on landed next to us. "Where to, mac?" said an odd voice from the platform.
"Where--" I said blankly.
"The Brown Bag Inn!" Raleigh said loudly.
"Corner of Milliard and Gregor?" the same voice asked.
"Yep," Raleigh replied.
"Hop on, everyone."
We all did, and the platform began to move slowly down the road.

(((Uh, It's impossible to tell you what has happened if you don't give us the last place you know.
If you want a total summary, I'm just going to ask you to read it. It isn't that much, and if it isn't important enough to read yourself, it isn't important enough to play in. Otherwise, yeah, you can join.)))

"Yes, what will you do? I'll probably just sit there in complete boredom. Perhaps I'll take a walk and scare the life out of some shoppers." Veloroop murmured as the small plot of land continued to zoom down the highway.

Suddenly the strange voice on the platform came on again, "I'm terribly sorry to interrupt your flight, but it seems there is to be a slight diversion. An independent wave call has just informed me that we are to pull off here. Again, I'm sorry for the inconvience."

Within seconds, the platform landed again along the northern side of the chasm. This time, however, the signs were mostly blinking or shot out. The stores looked run down or closed. A group of about twenty, consisting mostly of vendor-androids, confronted the group. A brute of a creature that resembled an octopus with a body and two more muscular legs approached the group first, "Yo! What are Tri-Advertisers like yourself doing on this side of the chas? Ain't you know your place? Get back to where yous belong before we got to deal you what you got coming."

Veloroop held up his hands in mock defense, "What are you talking about? We're just trying..."

"Oh, shut up! I've never seen a Tri like you before, but I don't know what your kind be coming up with lately. But since you be trying to question our authority, I guess we'll just have to give you a good whooping. Price Cuts, git em."

There was only a small space for everyone, and it just so happened that the group had been backed into a corner. Suddenly, war whoops rang out as the entire group of Price Cuts ran at the small clan. The androids were strong and not easily defeatable. There were also two human-like creatures and a punk-rocker. Fists were bared as the Price Cuts collided with the small group. Veloroop just closed his eyes as punch after punch sailed harmlessly through his body.
