Because it says so, in the bible?

californiasun....what do you believe?....what do you think took place when jesus walked the earth?.....did he heal?....did he ride in jerusalem?...was he killed?.....

I think it's not unreasonable to accept a man named Jesus lived during that time in Palestine, although actual historical evidence is scant, and Jewish rabble rousers were a dime a dozen, it's not much of a stretch to say he existed.

As for all of the "miracles" -water walking, healing, raising from dead, etc.- there is absolutely no evidence or good reason to take those claims seriously. Just becuase something is written down, doesn't make it so. Just think about the amounts of supernatural claims that have been written since recorded history by every ethnic group ever existed/ing, and how easy it is for you to dismiss their claims, so too I dismiss the claims of christianity.

Its all held together by gods power....

Why would you ignore the amazing marvels of the universe for some vague notion of divine power? I would find it far more wonderful that the creative force behind the universe put all of these processes into action.

because a divine power is more convincing than an accident or of its own....all things around us are created by man........the universe is an engine created by god
