There is no heaven of eternal bliss in the Hebrew bible. A heaven of eteranl bliss is a doctrine borrowed from pagan religions and grafted onto the teachings of Jesus. He said the kingdom of heave is at hand while he was on the earth. It was there then and it is here now. The problem is being able to exist in it.

Ok umm that answer is really simple if you belive in the Bible that it is fully inspired by God and everything in it is true. Because in John 3:3 it says "Unless a man be born agin he will in no wise enter the kingdom of heave" if you have questions about being born again just read the whole Book of John.
Oh yeah? Then try to answer these simple questions.
Did Jesus quote from the book of John?
Did Jesus quote from Corinthians or Timothy, or the other writings of Paul?
Did Paul quote from the writings of John?
Did Paul quote from the writings of Paul?
Did Paul consider his letters to people to be scripture?
Can you find any mention of a heaven of eternal bliss in the Five Books Of Moses?
We all await your answers to these simple questions, and to see how they will reinforce your statements.

Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear His voice and come out - those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned.

If you are a good person, you will go to heaven

The kingdom of heaven is at hand and the kingdom of heaven is within. This verse by Jesus in its purest simplist form is just as he quoted. Follow ones path with heart even if its only the path one follows (quote from a book once read) givea meaning and truth to Jesus's words. If the kingdom of heaven is at hand and is within then take away the mist and enter God's kingdom wearing the armor of God and live and be in his presence. Walk in the spirit and follow God's grace.

Jesus mentions heaven numerous times. I don't know what the nature of heaven is, but it seems to exist in one way or another. I'll say this though, The New Jerusalem is going to be really, really AWESOME! For anyone that hasn't read it, check out Revelation 21-22 to read about the future that's to come soon... Paradise!

What do you believe are some of the basic requirements? Do some or all muslims go to Heaven, do some or all Jews get into heave, do some or all Christians get into Heaven...etc.

I ask this for those of you coming from a Christian perspective because it is obvious that those in religions other than Christianity would believe they were going to Heaven.

The way I see it is that you have accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and sincerely love him for it. That's the gist of it anyway.
I think that you must first accept Christ. Secondly you must keep His commandments. Third, do your best to live a good life:)

I think if a loving rational God exists... everyone goes to whatever heaven is.

I agree, but I'd like to add something.

Some challenge universal salvation by saying things like, "Why be good, if all are saved?"

I do agree that everyone eventually gets to heaven.

The sooner the better. It can even be in this life--we can have heaven here and now in our hearts.

The longer we are immoral, hateful, wrongdoing--the longer we experience temporal hell, even in the here and now.

To accept Jesus as the Son of God who died so that we might be saved, and to make a reasonable attempt to live according to the Word of God.

"And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats." Matt. 25:32

The character which we now manifest is deciding our future destiny. The happiness of heaven will be found by conforming to the will of God, and if people are to become members of the royal family in heaven, it will be because heaven has begun with them on earth.

God knows who are the loyal and true subjects of His kingdom on earth, and those who do His will upon earth as it is done in heaven, will be made the members of the royal family above.

There are not many ways to heaven. Each one may not choose his own way. Christ says, "I am the way: . . . no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me."

Faith alone in Christ alone. That Jesus was God, God manifest in the flesh (able to satisfy the rightouesness of God the Father) . And that He was our substitutionary sacrifce. Accept that and you go to heaven. Reject the gift of salvation and go to hell. I believe Paul when he says "For our God is a consuming fire"

According to Judaism, the righteous of all nations have a share in the World to Come. It doesn't matter what religion you are or what nation/race/ethnicity you belong to. Of course, the word "righteous" needs to be defined as each culture has there own view of what is righteous. According to Judaism, Jews and Gentiles each have a path to G~d. Jews are bound to the 613 mitzvos found in the Torah. That is their path to G~d. Gentiles are bound to the 7 Laws of Noach, and that is their path. A righteous Jew is a Jew who follows his path to G~d, and a righteous Gentile is a Gentile who follows his path to G~d. Now, of course EVERYONE sins and strays from the path at least once. But Judaism also strongly encourages repenting, sincerely being sorry, and returning to G~d. One can always come back to Him!

I have not been able to find ANY reference to a heaven of Eternal Bliss in the Hebrew Bible. I find heavens of eternal bliss in pagan religions only before the Christian bible starts promising the existence of one. The Christian bible must not contradict the Torah as the Torah is what gives the Christian Messiah his authority.

What Proof do you have for that? It directly contradicts the Torah and the writings of James.
