Don't be drunk with wine, Paul says. So there must have been alcohol in it, otherwise you can't get drunk. But I also heard that it wasn't so much as we have now.My post earlier already gave you several good reasons... so drink up
Here's two witnesses from the NT concerning what the Lord says...
Don't be drunk with wine, Paul says. So there must have been alcohol in it, otherwise you can't get drunk. But I also heard that it wasn't so much as we have now.
paul sipped, Jesus sipped, Tim sipped, the Jews sipped, why presume a glass of wine turns one into a drunkard?
Alcohol is proven by medical science to be a carcinogen, which is a known cancer causing agent... so Jesus did not put poison in His Body, and if He did this makes Him a sinner!
You were not there to take chemical composition of what He drank when He walked the earth so you cannot prove He put things in His Body that would damage it. "Good wine" back then was considered to be freshly produced grape juice... which they called "wine", the fruit of the vine.
Jesus understood, apparently better than you fellas, that the Body is the temple of the Holy Ghost and we should glorify God in our Body and present our Body as a living sacrifice... all of which Jesus did, so He could not have drank poison.
So, what's next... smoking just a little weed for Jesus? Snortin just a little coke for Jesus? Putting harmful substances in the Body is of satan, not of the Living God.
But... don't let me cramps yo styles... drink up![]()
you're not answering, show me where it is sin to have a glass of wine, as you violate Col 2:16.
Was paul telling Tim to sin, did Jesus and Paul sin? They sipped, you saw the text...
Actually I have heard that scientist have come up with the discovery that a little (real) wine is good for the stomachs sake.
Wow how about that !!
Already did, and you favor drinking poison... so, drink up![]()

No, portions of the grape are good for you... which you can get by drinking organic grape juice.
You can also take a supplement called "Reservatrol Grape Seed & Red Wine Extract" to get that nourishment in your temple... which is good for nourishing the heart.
gimmie text....
Then you're saying jesus, paul and tim sinned because they had a glass of winse, and what about col 2:16, and judging about wine?
you're not rebutting, you are just sort of.......
Go back and read what I already wrote... I have already given you all the information you need to see and understand that alcohol is poison and it damages the body.
If you wanna believe Jesus would put poison in His Body against the will of His Father... which would be a sin ... be my guest![]()
Another one:
That all believers will be 'like-minded' with one another on every issue.
Nah, those that call this "occultic" believe God does not speak to people any more and are cessationists who choose not to believe in the entire New Testament... just bits and pieces of it so they don't have to be responsible for their lives.
These people fail to realize Jesus said their is NO truth in the devil, which means all satanic activity is taking what he sees God do with His people... and he does it with those that reject God is carnal strength and abilities.
I apologise on picking on the weird doctrine that you happen to believe in. Perhaps you would like to start a thread on it.No, portions of the grape are good for you... which you can get by drinking organic grape juice.

PROVE that Jesus drank alcoholic wine and not pure, fresh grape juice!
Let's see your lab report on the sample that you went back in time on yo time machines and collected out of Jesus' glass before He took a drink... go ahead, post it!
