CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No, the person with the Truth is right. God is real, that is the Truth. Jesus is the Son of God and the savior of all who put their faith and trust in Him, that is the Truth. But you sir, are not of the Truth, because you do not believe. So I will not waste my pearls any longer.

Those are unsupported claims, just as the Hindu makes, just as the Muslim makes. You have no greater justification for asserting that they are true than the others do.

That is not the claim of atheism - you make a common error. But please don't change the subject. What makes your claims about the 'Truth' objectively correct, while all other religious followers are wrong?

How can you prove God to a person who refuses to believe Him? How can you prove Christ is the Son of God to someone if they think it is bogus? You can't! That is what the scripture says and that is what you are demonstrating right now. This all goes back to my very first post in this thread, and honestly, I should have ended it there. But of course, in my own foolishness I decided to chat with a man who rejects God.
1 Corinthians 1:20-25
20 Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Yes, but what kind of an argument is that? It's weak because it is self-defeating. I could turn around and say the same thing to you. Evolution is real. You just don't want to believe it. God works through evolution. You just don't want to believe it.

It's not an argument. It's the Truth, and God has taught me time and time again that you cannot argue someone into believing the Truth, because to the natural man it is foolishness.

And you claim that you do have evidence. Yet none of you ever present any. All you do is repeat your claims and accuse those who don't believe you.

Again, you are resorting to personal insults, instead of solid logic. You have resorted to inflammatory rhetoric, attacking his character, saying he is "not of the truth." As I have told you, this kind of thing is totally inappropriate in a theological discussion. Elsewhere, you have been strongly implying those who don't think your way are really going to get it on Judgment Day. Threats like that are totally inappropriate in a theological discussion group.

You want a camera photo of Jesus? How about God in all of His blinding glory? There is no evidence I can give you. I can only the offer you the truth, and that can only be discerned spiritually. You don't have the Spirit of God, so this conversation is over.

It is purely your own interpretation of what the Bible is saying. Who says you are correct? I don't think you understand these biblical passages at all. It seems you want to exploit the Bible, using it as a weapon to embarrass those who use reason.

Any time someone provides you with a rational argument you don't like, you try and claim Scripture is putting this person down with it remarks about "wisdom of the world.' That is a totally inappropriate understanding of Scripture, to start with. Furthermore, you provide no evidence the other guy is wrong. if you think he is foolish, present a solid, rational case why. If you have trouble convincing people is a God, then maybe you should examine how adept you are at this. How carefully did you listen and take seriously their reasons why they don't believe? Probably you blew them off, telling them immediately that they were gong on the foolishness of teh world or something. Also, merely quoting and firing away with Scripture, which is all you seem to do, is not a good way to win or make a convincing theological argument in the first place.
