Where did I assert that the Noachian Flood happened 4,500 years ago?
Please use the quote function instead of strawman ventriloquism.
That is what the bible indicates according to bible experts on here and elsewhere.

Do you think the Noah flood actually happened?

Sure. Why not?
Non-smoker.
Healthy active lifestyle.
No artificial preservatives and colouring and nitrates and hormones in his diet. Lots of berries, dark leafy green vegetables, legumes, seeds, nuts, garlic, olive oil...antioxidants.
No fossil fuel pollution. (Smog) No plastic packaging Bisphenol A.
No mobile phone towers, high voltage power lines.
Much more pure atmosphere and less UV radiation....

What do you think he died of? You know we don't die of "old age" right?

You haven't justified your scepticism. Come on! Show me the science which makes that longevity impossible.

How science is on a mission to extend the human lifespan – to 1,000?

"Can we live to be 1,000 years old? How science is on a mission to slow ageing and extend the human lifespan. Along with academic research departments around the world, private sector medical technology companies are getting in on the action, seeking ways to increase longevity and health span."

Many people don't smoke and still die before the age of say, 80. Many people are active and still die before 80. Many people have paleo diets and diets of all shapes and forms, many people live away from cities where air is pure, mobile photo towers are just made of metal and don't hurt anyone but many people live away from these too. We also have roof tops and sunscreen to protect us today. We have modern medicine that has done wonders in extending our life span. We have forms of surgery and chemo and use of radiation for cancer treatment for example. If you have an infection, we have antibiotics. If you break a leg, we have antiseptics, sterile bandages, tools for sterile surgery. We have laparoscopic instruments for minimally invasive emergency surgeries. We have c-sections for women, we can perform brain surgery, heart surgery etc.

It's not necessarily our environment that kills us (although it can), rather our DNA naturally breaks down over time.

But all this aside, as always, we need to remember that it is the claimant that has the responsibility to demonstrate evidence for the claim. If someone believes that people used to live to be 1,000 years old, what is the evidence for that? Scientifically, there is no such evidence.

Trust me.
You do NOT want to debate the Noachian Flood with me.
I've done heaps of Flood apologetics debates. They always end in tears.
So, nothing scientific, or evidence-based?

So somewhere in the Old Kingdom period. When a strong and united Egypt was building HUGE pyramids all over the place. And sending trade expeditions to Nubia, Palestine, and Crete. And documenting everything that took place.
No, you've got the dates for that stuff all wrong. You're relying on Bible-hating , Christ-denying commies for that information and it's all lies.

And when that evidence is presented, the interlocutor needs to accept it.
Am I right?

If I HAVE to do something, then its only fair that they HAVE to do something in return. Yes?

What we have to do is examine your evidence critically but fairly. This is a science forum, so uncritical acceptance is not to be expected.

Ramesses the Great, died in 1213 bce, at about 80 or 90 years of age.
He was exceptionally old for an Egyptian of the period. Indeed exceptionally old for an Egyptian now.

I reported the scientific fact that two thirds of the earths surface is ALREADY covered with water and someone calls that irrelevant.
I'm not sure why it would be relevant. Just because the Earth is two-thirds covered with water now is no reason to suppose that it was entirely covered with water a few millennia ago--unless you can suggest a reason.

I dont enjoy debating Flood deniers who struggle with the basic fact that two thirds of the earths surface is ALREADY covered with water.
Thats nice. Let me know when you find someone who struggles with the fact that 2/3rds of the earths surface is covered with water.
I'll be around.
In the mean time. A year please. Or at least a decade range.

Extraordinary claims demand extraoridinary evidence.

You have no data at all to support the assertion that Noah lived for over 600 years, you dont even have any evidence or data supporting he ever existed.

Yes, it is. For what does that have to do with a world-wide flood covering the tallest mountains?
