CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It was genius, I played it ages ago, during the beta before it went P2P.
It closed down a while back, but they're re-opening it, with free to play. It's in beta at the moment.
It's amazing, it's almost entirely run by the players, with all the laws decided by players, all the law enforcement and military are players, mercinaries, freedom fighters, mafia... 'sgot it all.
There are absolutely no NPCs whatsoever. The roleplaying in it is immense. As is the level of diplomacy between the factions.

So far, Runes of Magic is pretty good. The people are mostly honorable [you won't have that much of a problem of RETARDS stalking you and taking resource nodes before you can get to them, just Player Killers or PKs. and that is VERY RARE!!]
The only downsides are that if your PC's running on a Wi-fi network and/or is behind in Graphics card, memory, or processor power... don't bother. It will lag you to no end. Also, you won't be able to use all the features without paying for "Diamonds" [in-game currecny, bought with REAL money through the company] and using them.
PS:I recmommend upgrading your PC to at least these following specs before trying:
OS: Windows XP [not Vista or WinDUUHHHHS 7, it's offical... they suck [like a bucket of ticks]]
RAM: at least 2 Gigabytes... more if you can.
Video/graphics card: anything that has 1024 onboard memory. DO NOT use any integrated graphics if possible [they aren't that good!]
Net connection: Broadband's your best bet. DO NOT GO WI-FI, you won't have the bandwidth.
