What is Righteousness?

Jesus cannot say to hear the Pharisees, because the new covenant is to not be taught by any man, but to be taught of the father ( faith and the Father and Son coming to us and making their abode with us to teach us in the Spirit and not by flesh, that is man)


Jesus speaking for men of Israel to observe what the law says, is reminding the men of Israel, that doing what the law says, is greater than what the Pharisees say, which is to say and do not, to mix lies with what they spoke of God.



Hebrews 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

John 6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

All we observe is Jesus not resting on sabbath as all Israel does in the synagogues, see for a moment these other confirming verses, how Israel had Moses and the prophets, but heard them not, and were not persuaded by one rising from the dead, knowing not the Lord nor the voices of the prophets which are read to the people of Israel every sabbath day.

Acts 15 speaks of the tabernacle of David to be risen up in Christ, for the Gentiles ( Christ risen up to Heaven for us) and the Jews, the believers of Israel gave no rules of circumcision, of sabbath, of anything in the laws to Israel, but to keep from idols, and from fornication, from things strangled, and from blood. Saying how Moses is preached enough in every city from old time, and Moses ( the law) is read in the synagogues every sabbath day ( from old to the people of Israel in Judaism)

As their minds ( of Israel and in every city in the synagogues every sabbath day) are blinded until this day, and the vail ( of blindness) is untaken away in the reading of the old testament, when the vail is done away in Christ. When Moses is read ( from old time in every city in their synagogues on every sabbath day) the vail is upon their heart..

Israel was and is, under the impression that they are worshipping God, by what the law of Moses tells them.

Unfortunately, they do nothing of what that law of Moses instructs,, and Jesus pointed that out by telling that what is instructed, should be observed and done.

Jesus also revealed how the Pharisees were hypocrites, to strain at gnats, and swallow camels, to observe what does no good to others, and to ignore the love and mercy of Gd, that should have been their interest, instead of all their doings, are only for themselves.

The last thing to recognize is, any unprofitable servant is cast into outer darkness, so to lose our life quickly, to labour together with Christ, preaching the Gospel of the kingdom, and being unlike Israel on the sabbath days, is our wise choice it seems..






Matthew 23:2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.


Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

Matthew 25:29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

How do you test the spirits?

I test them by the word of YHWH.
