Was this your question, bro'?
Great to have you with us!
This is really funny.Again, you have nothing but opinion and rhetoric to express, in the face of the truth.
Since Jesus was extremely clear about the fact that recipients of eternal life shall never perish in John 10:28, that means IF IF IF John 15:6 means that murder results in loss of eternal life, then all you've done is PROVE that Jesus is a LIAR.If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:6

Congratulations.
The truth is not in you.Still no scriptures from you.
John 10:28 is clear enough for any rational person. Those given eternal life by Jesus shall never perish.Just your opinion, tagged with scripture references.
Proof that you either don't read my posts, or you can't understand simple English. Now your claiming Jesus is a liar.
No, it's definitely not good. Not good.
Look in a mirror when you say that. Please repent.
Again, IF IF IF IF IF this verse means that murder results in loss of eternal life, then you've PROVEN that Jesus LIES.If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:6
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.
No, here's the truth:Here’s the truth.
Yes, JLB ... but people need to understandIf anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:6
Yes, JLB ... but people need to understand
just what "abiding in Jesus" actually means.
Which you gave later in the thread ...
"Now he who keeps His commandments
abides in Him, and He in him." 1 John 3:24
Then, of course, we have countless other NT verses
... such as my signature below ... which states that
being slaves of habitual sin leads to eternal death!
You might agree with me that the whole functioningI come from a family of gardeners. Both my grandmother and father had grape vines. Never in their entire experience did they observe any effort on the part of the branches to produce grapes.
You might agree with me that the whole functioning
of the human body is an incredible miracle.
Ditto for the functioning of all of God's creation.
Including fruit trees.
For a branch to produce fruit is a miracle of sorts.
IMO.
For a BAC to produce fruit is a miracle of sorts.
It's only possible through the precious Holy Spirit.
And the BAC doing his/her part, of course.
I have no idea as to how a branch can "do his part" to bear fruit.
Remain connected to the Vine.
JLB
How does a branch even make a decision to either "remain connected" to the vine, or to "disconnect from the vine".Remain connected to the Vine.
Okay, okay ... Jesus is wrong, and you're right.I have no idea as to how a branch can "do his part" to bear fruit. It doesn't happen in nature. The branch bears fruit because it is a vital part of the tree or vine. Without the tree or vine which bears it a branch is just another stick of firewood. That stick is not good for much and certainly can't do it's part to bear any fruit.
Okay, okay ... Jesus is wrong, and you're right.
You're the horticultural expert, not me.What makes Jesus wrong and me right?
You're the horticultural expert, not me.
Agreed, this is all very exciting!Right. Now, back to the discussion. All that God requires is faith in Jesus Christ. Nothing more and nothing less.
Agreed, this is all very exciting!
Except ...
What are you going to do with all of those pesky little
NT verses that warn about believers losing salvation?
Oh yes, silly me, I forgot ... ignore and/or reject them!
Yes, that's it.
