Already the one world government has persuaded most people on earth to go along.
When the one world leader is put in place publicly,
I'll simply continue
following JESUS !
So you haven't given me what you think I should do. I do follow Jesus btw. How do you interpret the verses on the Armor of God?

I stopped myself from posting this opinion in another thread because I'm curious about what Americans in America think is pulling America apart.

I am 1000% convinced that the left and the right do NOT agree on what that is. As I'm outside of it, I have my own opinions on both groups. But from SPECIFICALLY where you sit, what do you think is causing the slow melting of America's standing.

My thoughts?

Right
Mass migration
DQSH/LGBTQ issues
CRT
Economic crisis (which isn't actually an ECONOMIC crisis...it's a distribution of wealth crisis as the rich get richer and the middle and poor get left behind....still)

Left
Greed/Corporate exploitation
Racism
The removal of rights for certain classes of people
Republican degradation of national institutions.

But really, what do you guys think.

https://aztownhall.org/resources/Documents/Bridging Divides to Build Community/Stuck in the Middle - The Extremes Pulling America Apart Summary.pdf
That's a link to a boring pdf that indicates that it is the extremism that's tearing America apart. Seems boring and, frankly, the "Extreme left" in America? I'm curious who that would include....
My position, in a nutshell:

I must preface it with this: The human brain does not fully mature until around age 25. Until then humans have a tendency to "live in the present" and not think about long term consequences. e.g. it's why we have illegitimate children produced at a time when hormones are raging and "thought for consequences of actions" are sort of thrown out the window.

Anyway, beginning around the 1960's, western civilization started giving these children a lot more voice than they had in the past. There are many causes of this, but the bottom line is that it really did sort of begin with the beatnik movement, followed by the hippies, and on and on. Reducing the voting age to 18 really sped it up. Children generally don't come up with good "long term" solutions and tend to be a bit overly "compassionate" towards bad behavior. As they flex their voting muscles, it gives us the culture and government we have now in our major cities. And usually those cities determine the outcome of elections other than local.

For me it's not about money, though I'm on the right - and I'm retired and my SS payments are about 1/3 of my monthly cost of living. But young people are in a culture/economy in decline. The salad days are over and too many of them are seeing opportunity decline compared to what their parents had. This means they do not generally support the status quo. It is their enemy. Problem is, there is nothing that will serve them better. They're kinda stuck. I have no doubt this will lead to all out world war. It's not about "if". It's about "when".

As one pundit put it (to be US centric for a second), it used to be that the Democrats and Republicans had the same goals and promises. They just disagreed on how to fulfil them. Now they don't even have the same goals and promises. This country is divided in the way that destroys a country. And it will be destroyed. Of that I have little doubt. 2024 is going to be one for the history books.

This offers some great perspective:

All I can say is, be prepared, spiritually and physically.

Tribalism has caused us to war against flesh and blood but our war is against the principaties and the systems of the devil. Humankind has to do its part and try to pick leaders who have honesty integrity and a true desire to help people. What is your recommendation for me to do?
My question to you is: What are you going to do specifically when the one world leader comes scene?
The devil led Him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to Him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. -- Luke 4

There has been one world leader for at least 2000 years. All you're talking about is how he's managing his henchmen and lackies.

And the Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their portion at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. -- Luke 2

If you're already doing what you're supposed to be doing, you should continue to be occupied doing that until the Lord returns.

Especially the henchmen and lackies, the masses politically active and part of the divide

Satan is the author of confusion. When you go back to Daniel 10, we're given a "spirit realm view" of the defeat of the Persian empire by Alexander the Great. In the spirit realm, it was just one of Satan's principalities exchanging places with another of Satan's principalities. There's no conflict between them...it's as if it was merely a shift change. On earth, however, that movement of principalities resulted in war, mass death, and years of confusion.

When the Soviet Union suddenly collapsed, there were specific characteristics in that event that cause me and some other Christian intelligence analysts to conclude we had witnessed the movement of a principality.

Where do you think it moved to?

Hillary did what in Libya? You speak as if she was a President or something. You believe Hillary was telling Obama what to do?
Clinton was in the State Department and was instrumental in the dethronement of Gaddafi in Lybia. I really don't know if she was telling Obama what to do. Peace

Obama was her boss. You really think she was calling the shots? Apparently you do otherwise you would not blame her for Libya.

Ultimately, the buck stops with the president. However, he relies heavily on his advisors. The president doesn't talk directly to anyone actually on the scene...the Secretary of State paints that picture for him.

We saw how bad that went with the invasion of Iraq. President Bush was being shown a picture concocted at the Cabinet level that had nothing to do with what the working analysts were briefing. That briefing Colin Powell gave the UN wasn't even what his own State Department intelligence had briefed him.

Do you believe that tribalism started in 2017?

Political elections, decorum, respect for the law, and acceptance of votes all changed with the 2016 election. It is instructive to re-visit the meetings between Bush and Obama during their transition, and their statements thereafter.
I was in my 30's back then and I think I voted for Perot. We weren't polarized as we are today we still looked at issues instead of going in pushing the Republican button and walking out.
I think the turn of the century is when stuff started happening. It was revenge for the Monica and Bill scandal. I started noticing a lot of attacks on George. But as technology evolved it got even worse to where now it's a habit. Peace

It started in the 90s with Newt Gingrich.

You blame Clinton too. Good to know.

Yes we were. I listened to Limbaugh, Savage and all the other right-wing radio talking heads every day, and they polarized the country through radio waves, and all of them were out to get Clinton.

Remember the dittoheads?

Who is we? You say that as if you speak for others.

Funny how the wizard behind the curtain, NeoCon Cheney, is never mentioned
He was the man behind Bush's curtain. At the time I did not like him, but in retrospect he was more professional and not as far right as many republicans in Congress today. He also understands how bad Trump is for this country. I respect the courage his daughter showed in the last three years.

I recall Cheney as a schemer and inside the admin arm twister. I dont recall him as an agitator whos m.o. was getting the public riled up.

Smart agitators remain behind the scenes. Not everyone can lead a nation into years of wars in order to change a government in order to have more favourable outcomes on pipeline projects.
