This is not correct.There are a few basic ways that theologians connect free will and predestination.
There is the God is outside time theory. The problem with this theory is that from a human perspective then we have no real free will. Something or someone external made all our choices for us. For theologians this would be God.
For God, there is no past, present or future, only that God knows all.
So why would us living our lives within the constructs of time (on earth) mean that God has made any choices for us?
How can God not know what God knows? If God knows all things that ever occured and all truth is truth, than how does that limit our free will in any way?
