No we never invested in one. We should but our property is so large, it might help but with very few things.

Well, it is good to have for the bare essentials.

Solar panels are also handy, charging telephone for example.

Boy I had a lucky day. Went to shop for a few items and decided to buzz through the local thrift store. I found an authentic Roseville Pottery Zephyr Lily Vase!! I about fainted and to top it off I found a jadite pie dish. It’s not original like the rest of my Fire King but it is made by the same company a few years ago. The vase? 2 bucks! Pie dish? 3 bucks! I’m a very happy girl!

Well we are expecting a bad storm starting at 11pm with up to 60 mile an hour winds with rain that is supposed to last till 9am. Hoping and praying there are no power outages. Being out here in the woods, I’m sure big limbs and trees will come down.

Oh and the storm? Skipped us!

The local library apparently holds a sale of books they're discarding on the first weekend of the month. I intend to head down shortly and see what bargains I can find.

Me too, it just leaves you feeling so awkward doesn't it.
Sitting on the sofa at home enjoying Disney's Beauty and the Beast on telly, with half of my clocks adjusted to the new time, and the rest scheduled to adjust themselves automatically at 1am. It feels so bizarre and weird!

I felt that way here. Seems like no matter what you do you still have that strange period of limbo and feel off.

The Jewish calender makes Passover holiday this year 27/3-4/4,

starting directly after Shabbos leaves,

so now it is already started.

The strange thing is that no matter what the change in hour is, tomorrow morning the next door neighbour's dogs will be awake and they will be yapping regardless of the time. The clocks may have gone forward, but they will want to be fed on time - their biological meat clock will still be the same!
