They've been advertising a cleaning service for 1day $19.00. i think is you probably have to go on contract. I've never had anyone clean my house. It would never have entered my mind.

Once I started working full time in ministry - that is, six days a week - having a cleaner has been a lifesaver. They do all the big jobs like mopping all the floors, cleaning the bathroom, and so on, and we just have to maintain things in between. I think we pay ours about $100 for three hours once a fortnight, which is a pretty standard rate here. My conversations with other professional women lead me to think it's a pretty common thing to do, to cope with life's juggle.

I'm sure your right. I have no idea. No one i know has ever used a cleaning person. If you have the money i think it's wonderful for you. I'm sure it relieves stress.. it's a blessing really

When I first raised it, my husband was reluctant, thinking that we should be able to manage the housework on our own. I told him that maybe we should, but in reality we didn't. This way I wouldn't be full of resentment for him not having mopped the floor (or whatever). I told him it was an investment in our marriage, and he's never argued about it since!

Is it really so unusual for households where both spouses work, in America?

I honestly don't want to wait 2-3 hours for her to get ready just to get some cleaning supplies.

again fwiw, walmart or walmart+ might be available... a small monthly cost ....
and then same day deliveries , or next day/ scheduled, are possible... often cost less than the gas (or bus) money that would have been spent, and the time spent ...

Not that i know, my neighbor has asked to. Help on occasion but i never accepted but i was able then. The Mormons are known for that. Their services available for any members.

Is all this pertinent in the light of Romans 2 where it is written that The Judge (Creator) Justifies those who do what He Says To Do,

For us i think it is more about money. No one i knew had the money for it. the class you run with.

Poor Biden, with his support for Israel, is between a rock and a hard place. He must support the military industrial complex of the US to fund Israel for weapons, but he is also trying to advance Trump's Abraham Accord which as a peacekeeper will now fail under his hand because of his biased support of military action. No win situation. Such is the way and will of man.
