To be honest - you believe Moses was wrong because you believe that he wrote it as 7 literal days and that is what his contemporary readers also understood about the text.
Time didn't exist during Creation week.
That would be silly to have entropy
tearing stuff down while you were
busy trying to Create stuff from nothing.
The description of days is just God's way
of telling you He did it according to a plan.
