Jennifer is a great resource for this kind of thing. There are many books, classes, and workshops on developing one's spiritual gifts in this area. Here's one I've been involved with. It's actually quite powerful.
School of the Seers - Jennifer LeClaire's School of the Spirit
A Seer is what a prophet was called during the age of the Judges, Samuel was the last judge who anointed Saul and then David and began the age of Kings.I know they are able to see in the spirit..and I think a seer is also a prophet?
But a seer sees while the other kind of prophet hears with their ears..
I think the Hebrew is raa’sh ?
I know the other one is Nabiy I think..
What is a seer ? Can anyone describe what a seer is ?
That's because it was only used during the age of the judges.I can't find any definition of a seer in the New Testament.
Is there a new testament reference to seer?"Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not..." (Isa 30:10).

My reply was addressing the convention to use one old testament verse to form a doctrine. There is a denominational teaching that does say that a seer sees, and a prophet speaks. However, this was not carried over to the new testament - thus, not a thing. No you were correct. A prophet used to be called a seer, just like scripture specifically says.
I think you mean a seer sees and a prophet hears, this may not be a doctrinal, straight biblical thing, but it is a thing. God speaks to people many different ways. Visions from God and hearing His voice are common ways God communicates, found in both NT and OT.My reply was addressing the convention to use one old testament verse to form a doctrine. However, in the new testament all people participating in the divine nature from the greatest to the least know God.I think you mean a seer sees and a prophet hears, this may not be a doctrinal, straight biblical thing, but it is a thing. I don't see how what I posted restricts or minimizes anyone. In fact quite the opposite. However, in the new testament all people participating in the divine nature from the greatest to the least know God.
Restricting people to one role is kind of defeating the purpose.
Growing into different roles as you mature spiritually is totally a thing, and it's awesome.
Minimizing people's perceptions is catering to the people in the crowd who haven't awakened yet, and it's holding back those who have.
Those on the outside of the doctrinal bubble get plenty of interruption correction when trying to share their experiences. If you notice that, might be good to investigate.I don't see how what I posted restricts or minimizes anyone. In fact quite the opposite.
Investigate what exactly? Those on the outside of the doctrinal bubble get plenty of interruption correction when trying to share their experiences. If you notice that, might be good to investigate.
