I used to play the keyboard, but I never really found time to practice. Between sports and friends I just didn't have a lot of time, and that time I used to spent reading or playing mario or some other random videogame.

I've played guitar for about 10 years actively now. I started playing very young, but had the typical mid-teens unmotivational period for a few years. In high school I got into a more hard rock sort of thing, founded a band with a couple friends and and got really crazy with my practice regime; I played 5-10 hours a day for summer 2005 and most of 2006-2007 
Nowadays I'm lucky to manage 5 hours playing time a week, but I much prefer this more relaxed and chilled out position of music in my life.

Ultimately I don't play much of anything.
I started with piano in grade 4 simply out of peer pressure. I kid you not, all the cool kids were taking piano lessons so I jumped off the bridge with them and tried it. I didn't mind it, the only small problem was that I was pretty bad and didn't "believe" in practicing.
I also took flute in school for a couple of years. Eventually I dropped both to have time for jazz choir and choral workshop. Good times.
Sadly now I'm just left with a deja vu type recognition for these instruments but nothing much to show.
