In the NIV translation, Leviticus 11:20-21 says that "`All flying insects that walk on all fours are to be detestable to you. There are, however, some winged creatures that walk on all fours that you may eat:"
In the KJV translation, it is written in Leviticus 11:20 that "All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you." which is different that verse 21 in the NIV wherein it is written that there were some that could be eaten.
While the LORD made all living creatures both the winged fowl and the creeping insect, what did he advise was the flying insect that walked upon all fours which would be destestable to you? Those who claim the Bible is a myth often cite that insects, both those that fly and don't fly have six legs and use all six for motion is proof that the Bible is a myth so can anyone name a winged creature that walks upon all fours?
