What If His People Prayed?

talked to an unbeliever friend last night about his cousin who's in the hospital who only has a 20% chance of living. not really knowing what to tell my buddy i said (knowing that his cousin is saved)..that either he's going to go to heaven or God is going to do a miracle and heal him. he replied by saying that he hopes it's the latter. then i asked him if God were to heal him, would he believe, and he told me yes. i then proceeded to share with him a passage from The Bible about Jesus telling the pharisees that no sign shall be given except the sign of the prophet jonas..where he spent 3 days and nights in the whale..so shall Jesus spend three days in the earth. anyway. i presented him with the gospel again. i don't know how many times that makes it that hes been given the good news of Christ. just pray however the Lord sets things on your hearts. The cousin needs prayer and so does this lost fellow.

Praying for a healing miracle and that the Holy Spirit gives you a voice that will be heard.

I hate to come back again without having posted much else since, but things are really looking poorly for my grandfather right now. I am going home this weekend for Spring Break so I'll see him then, but my aunt doesn't sound very enthusiastic about his condition. Please continue to pray for his salvation.

Also, I have to have more tests done and am currently still waiting on the results of a few others. As it stands right now, it is possible for me to have a serious disease. That cannot be confirmed until the tests come back, but I have been told to brace for potentially bad news. Please pray for God's will to be done in both instances, and for my family to granted peace with any outcome.

I'm grappling with a very difficult decision right now. I've been praying for guidance and feel like I know what I need to do, but it's still not clear to me if it's God's will or my own at work in the action I believe I need to take.

It's not a light or easy decision to make, but it is a very serious one that I will not forgive myself for if I need to take action and don't. If I take the action I feel I need to, there will be long-term, serious consequences involved. If I don't take it, there will be long-term, serious consequences involved.

Please pray for God to make His will in this situation known to me, for me to have the courage to follow-through if I do need to take the action, and for protection for myself and my family through all of this.
